Ordered these to conceal TV cables inside the wall. They work great. I was able to put 3 HDMI cables plus the cable that came with the TV. There was more room for at least 2 more cables. Looks great and neat.

You get what you pay for. Recessed plates were easy to install but thewall anchors didn't catch properly after putting them in the wall. They stayed in place, but are loose and can easily be pulled off the wall.

So this is a mixed bag, I thought I was ordering the side open item, but (I think) because I clicked a similar item link and then went back it reverted my selection so I got the bottom opening version. I figured it would work though for one of the spots I needed them for so went ahead with the install. To try and be objective since objective I'll highlight the pros and cons.Pro:- Unlike some brands it has two pieces, a separate low voltage junction style mount and a screw-on face plate. This did make it easier to install in the wall, which was good since otherwise I couldn't have used it.- Looks nice once installedCons:- The hole is really small. Like barely fit a three prong plug small, like won't fit a three prong plug if any other cords are there small.- the placement of the screw and wing are directly in the way, causing some cords to not to fit that would have fit through the actual opening. In order to get one TV cord that was the 3 prong style (like a computer uses)with a ethernet cable I had to remove the whole thing from the wall, remove the securing screw and its wing, thread it through the outlet, then reinstall everything with this cord hanging through it. At that point even with the plug through just the TV cord and a cat6 cord meant nothing else would fit. Considering its purpose is to hide ALL the cords from my TV down to the entertainment center (console, bluray, sound bar, etc...), it wouldn't work anywhere except my bedroom and I still had to attach a power strip to the wall behind the TV and attach the roku to the back of the tv to be able to hide its power cord. In the end it was more trouble than it was worth for the outcome and I should've used another one.

These will install pretty easily. The template that is provided is slightly off. That could be due to a mass printing error however. I have 2 complaints:1. The plastic parts are a little fragile. Be careful not to overtighten them while trying to get them snug.2. The entry opening path to fish the wires behind the wall is very small and will not allow much outside of a a few Ethernet cords or Ave cords to be fished down.Lastly, if you’re try to purchase this to hide a power wire, save the time and find another kit. This is for low voltage stuff(the stuff that doesn’t shock you) only. A power cord May for the opening, but it’s designed to keep people from doing it with a power adapter to prevent a fire hazard.

As described. Easy to install on old work. A bit snug for some power cable plugs, but works fine.

This item works and looks great. My only complaint is that it was extremely difficult to get a three pronged plug through it.

Product worked out well. As long as you measure correctly it should go fine. Wish the cutout template was a more rigid paper or cardstock instead of thin paper but it's not a big deal. The actual hole to feed cables through is quite small, so you can only fit maybe 3 cables max. If I wanted to take one out or add I'd have to take the entire thing out which is a bit annoying. This would be better if the hole for the cables wasnt as narrow but since I only have 3 cables it's not a big deal for now

This set of two recessed wall plates was perfect for hiding the cables for my wall mounted TV. The option for top or side aperture gives you flexibility on how many cables you can run, and the ingenious securing clips eliminated the need for mounting bracket, making it easier to add more cables as needed. Great product, well made, exactly as promised!

The idea is good, but there is very limited room for cables to pass. You can only get 2, or maybe 3 cables through the fitting. The last ones I installed were horizontal, by another seller, and they had twice the room for cables. Install was easy and the clamping system works great.

We purchased this so we could route our HDMI and power cables from our TV behind the wall. Unfortunately, the thick end of the power cable couldn't be fed through top down, so we had to use rope with a weight on it behind the wall to tie the small end on, and then pull it up through the top hole to plug into tv. The cable opening for the box is just way too small. For our second tv, even though we had purchased 2 sets, we just cut a hole in the wall and didn't bother putting the plate on since it was such a pain. Check opening size before purchasing.

Great product for helping to conceal wiring and cables. Located one behind wall mounted tv. Mounted second above baseboard. Easy to fish the cables through and not have wires and cables running down the wall.
