Not what I thought it is but good cream anyway

I have been buying this cream for two years now. It's great to soothe insect bites, even better than a medical cream specifically designed to reduce itching. Recently I had to deal with a mass of insect bites after a camping trip. Overnight, they feasted on my legs, and I woke up in agony with the worst case of itching of my life. Once home, I tried everything I could find in my first-aid cabinet, and this calendula gel was the one that got me through the next few days and nights without ripping my skin to shreds. It works on any type of skin irritation, burns, scratches, skinned fingers from vigorous old-fashioned sweeping. It's also excellent as a hand and leg cream, simply to hydrate dry skin, although I prefer more natural alternatives for extended use. The active ingredient is calendula extract, but there is a list of less natural ingredients. The tub is a nice, large size (250 ml). The gel-like cream smells great and has a slightly cooling effect.
