I Hate Fairyland Book One Hardcover – December 12, 2017

Good funny book. Kid friendly with hidden adult jokes. Great pictures.

Quality wise the book is beautifully bound, the cover is gorgeous. A book to keep proudly on your bookshelf.For Fans of the series, "I Hate Fairyland" or even just fans of Skottie Young's work, it's a must have. The pages are of course wonderfully drawn by Skottie and colors are vibrant. Covers 1 - 10 comics in the volume and I hope to get more compilations like this going forward.I came across the comic series as an artist, have always been a big fan of Skottie's style and was looking for some reference and inspiration from his works. Fell in love with the juxtaposition of humor, childhood fairytales and pure violence and gore. All done in a very fun and entertaining way. Gertrude is a terrible terrible guest in fairyland, but in spite of that it's hard not to love her and empathize with her, being stuck for decades in a magic realm far from home. She just wants to go home and will do anything to get there, albeit her methods are clearly causing more trouble than getting her home.I absolutely adore this series and highly recommend it!

I usually never laugh when reading comics or books but this was one of the few that was actually funny and very entertaining. Loved the art and story.

Great illustrations with eye-popping colors with an overall great story. I am looking forward to continuing the story in the next book.

This book is not for, people who have tender sensibilities. It is violent gory and hilarious, all wrapped up in Young's signature style. The books themselves are beautifully bound and the printing is excellent! If you are a big fan this is the way to own this series.

I love the artwork so much!! The story is great too, also love her "curse words" I was so into Book 1 that by chapter 3 I got online and ordered Book 2, and it's even bigger!!! I cant wait to read them both, this would be a wonderful animated series!!

I bought this as a gift for my wife. She loves the cover and the binding on it. It’s great because it has the first half of all the issues so she can just read on to the next chapter without having to buy another issue.

Skottie’s run on I Hate Fairyland has been one of the best at Image since it hit the shelves. This Hardcover printing does the first 10 issues justice with a professional presentation worthy of the art and story that Skottie spends so much time on. My copy arrived on time in perfect condition, would definitely recommend this to any mature comic fan.
