Meh
I don’t see much difference in her skin health. These also smell awful.

Great for skin
I give this to my Frenchie with coarse fur and dry skin. She loves the taste-although the smell is very bad-she still loves them. Once a day and her coat is shiny and healthy.

Misleading title, and it smells like a literal bag of diarrhea.
The title of this listing is literally "VetriScience Omega Plus Advanced Skin Supplement for Dogs and Cats – Fish Oil Supplement for Itchy Skin with Omegas 3, 6, 9 Fatty Acids and Added Nutrients". So, being a cat owner, I grabbed this for my cat.Fun fact: it's not for cats. The feeding instructions indicate that it's for use in dogs only.I suppose that had I read more carefully I would have realized that this is intended only for use in dogs. I would not, however, have realized just how awful these treats smell. They smell rotten, like bad milk, roadkill and a fish left in the sun for too long, all wrapped up in a little triangle.Despite being for use only in dogs and smelling like unwashed genitalia, my cat actually ate one. Hesitantly, but he ate it. As he did so, members of my family kept coming in the room and saying "why does it stink like [arse] in here?" Because, not only do they smell awful, but the smell also lingers. Open that resealable bag, and you're going to be catching whiffs of litterbox and diarrhea for hours afterwards.

Pet supplement for itchy skin, mixed results
A Mixed Experience with VetriScience Omega Plus Advanced Skin SupplementHaving recently tried the VetriScience Omega Plus supplement, I am sharing my honest experience with this product. With its promise of relieving itchy skin and promoting overall skin health through a blend of omega fatty acids and added nutrients, I had high hopes for its effectiveness. While my results were not as impressive as expected, there were positive and negative aspects worth considering.Firstly, regarding its claim of alleviating itchy skin, I didn't notice a significant improvement in my dog's itching after using the supplement for an extended period. It's important to note that every pet is unique, and results may vary, but I didn't observe a substantial difference in my dog's condition.Including omega-3, omega-6, and omega-9 fatty acids is a vital feature of this supplement. However, it would be helpful if the product provided more specific information about the exact amounts of each fatty acid included. This would allow for a better understanding of the supplement's nutritional value and potential benefits. In terms of the added nutrients, while they are advertised as beneficial for skin health, I didn't observe any remarkable effects on my pet's skin condition. Unfortunately, the lack of transparency about the nutrients included leaves me uncertain about their potential impact. The formulation of the supplement does present some challenges. The fish oil content, while potentially beneficial, has a strong odor and taste that may deter finicky pets from consuming it. Consistent administration is complicated and requires creativity to ensure your pet takes it without issue. One area of concern is the limited scientific evidence supporting the claims made by the VetriScience Omega Plus Advanced Skin Supplement. The absence of clinical studies or research backing its effectiveness raises some doubts. More robust scientific backing would provide greater confidence in its potential benefits.Lastly, it's worth mentioning that the price point for this supplement is on the higher side. Considering the mixed results and uncertainties surrounding its formulation, this may be a drawback for some pet owners seeking a cost-effective solution for their pets' skin issues. In conclusion, my experience with the VetriScience Omega Plus Advanced Skin Supplement for Dogs and Cats had its ups and downs. While it didn't deliver the level of itch relief I had hoped for, it may still benefit other pets. The lack of detailed information about the nutrient composition and dosage, as well as the strong odor and taste of the fish oil, can be potential drawbacks. Additionally, the limited scientific evidence and higher price point should be taken into consideration when making a purchasing decision. It's advisable to consult with your veterinarian and consider alternative options before settling on this particular supplement.

Dog likes them
My dog took a long moment before finally deciding to eat this treat, but after he was eagerly searching for more. So I interpret that as he likes the taste haha. They felt rather hard to me, but the texture doesn't seem to faze him. They also smelled atrocious to me the first time I opened them and made the mistake of smelling them, but again he seems to like it which is all that really matters. It's hard to say if nutrition wise they are benefiting him. I don't really notice any difference, but hopefully the health benefits this can provide our helping him internally.

Didn’t get to really try them out
I received this product as a free sample. I have a very picky dog when it comes to eating. Sometimes she won’t eat for days if she’s not interested in the food I give her. She will however eat most treats I give her, even if she’s on hunger strike. This was not one of those treats. I tried on three different occasions to give these to her. She wouldn’t even take them back to her crate to hide for eating later. I will say they have a pretty strong unpleasant odor. I ended up discarding them as I just get her to eat them. Therefore I really can’t evaluate the performance of the product. I rated it a three because I can’t fairly rate the performance and my dog is a picky eater. Other dogs may not have an issue eating these and may see beneficial results. The ingredient list seems fairly healthy if you get them to be eaten.

Dogs LOVE them!
I cannot recommend VetriScience Omega Plus Advanced Skin Supplement enough. My retrievers have always struggled with itchy skin, but since starting them on this fish oil supplement, their coats are noticeably softer and shinier. The added nutrients have also made a huge difference in their overall health. It's easy to administer and they seem to enjoy the taste.Five stars for sure!
