GOLD N HOT Ionic Stand Bonnet Dryer

This dryer is professional and it has different settings!I am a licensed Hair stylist, and I especially love the adjustable hood ! I would highly recommend this dryer to everyone, especially hair stylist! It’s perfect for Salons with smaller spaces and for home use . Great buy and I would definitely purchase again!

Update 2 years later: This is quite possibly my best hair tool investment. It’s still in perfect condition. Nothing has broken. I’ve even taken it apart and stored it in a box for my out of state move. I would buy this again if it died or broke for some reason. This is a great replacement to my hot and gold tabletop dryer that I had for over 10 years. My nephew broke it and I needed to replace it. The only thing I hate is that it’s not storeable but it works so good. I’m currently drying my tracks for my sewin and I’m hype. It’s dying them well and quickly. I do think it’s really flimsy and can break easily. So take care when handling it. Other than that, I REALLY recommend this.

This dryer is light weight; and a good value for the price. My local beauty supply had the same dyer in store priced at a little over $200. I purchased the warranty because I saw that a few reviewers had some mishaps with the hood popping off from the pole. Upon my examination I found that you need to secure the hood to the pole by screwing it several times; until you can no longer screw it. If not, the hood will appear weak and pop off; the dryer should be ok if you handle with care; The highest heat setting seems to produce the hottest heat; so great for deep conditioning and sets. Pole allows for height adjustment; and bonnet has ample space. You can even break it down conveniently and store in the closet if space is an issue.

I have had the dryer about 6 weeks now, and use it about once a week. What I like: It gets hot enough, but not too hot. I can expect my hair to be dry in about half an hour. Air drying takes about 3 hours. I like that there are a few heat and speed settings. The bonnet is nice and big, with an adjustable screen in front. If I put rollers in my hair, they fit with no problem. Easy assembly. Putting the dryer together was very fast and simple. What I don’t like: The pin that hold the bonnet on the pole appears to be a weak point in the construction design. I made sure to follow the assembly instructions exactly to help ensure the most secure fit, and I have not had an issue yet. But, I will certainly not be surprised if I there is one at some point. While there is a movable screen on the bonnet, it would be nice if the bonnet, itself, were moveable via a hinge point. I can move it up and down using the pole, but that’s not so feasible for simply getting under it and out from under it. It would be nice to not have to scrunch down to do those things. It’s certainly not a big deal. Just something that would be a nice touch. All in all, the dryer is working out for my home needs, so I give it 4 stars at this point.

Excellent product

The heat from the dryer is great, but the build quality is cheap. The piece that connects the head of the dryer to the stand is plastic and cheap. I literally heard a loud noise and when I walked into the room, the plastic piece cracked and the head of the dryer crashed to the floor. This should not have happened for the price I paid for this item.

The dryer works great, while it works. I bought mine in February 2024 and had no issues. Today, April 2026, the dryer will only work on the low setting. Even when I turn the knob to high, it stays the same. It's going to take forever to dry my hair. Not sure if the dryer is worth the selling price.

This thing is AMAZING!! It stands just fine, doesn't seem top heavy to me. Maybe people are assembling this thing wrong, however it does go up pretty high so maybe that could be a problem. I kept mine low because I'm sitting in a chair. Its light and easy to pick up to move around or roll. If you are a curly girl and sick of drying time this thing works like a charm. The air seems to blow downwards and gets nice and toasty. I never leave a review but I over-thought this item so thought I'd share, JUST GET IT!

First, putting this hairdryer together is super easy. Just wanted to get that out of the way. When using it for the first time, however, the fan sounded like it was perhaps not put together "evenly" - lots of rattling, and the hairdryer smelled EXTREMELY hot...as if something electrical was burning. I chalked it up to it being new and just breaking in. However, the second and third time I used it, neither of these matters seemed to be rectifying themselves. I actually had submitted a return request for it and ended up buying another, smaller hooded dryer. The smaller one didn't dry my hair as quickly so I thought to give this one one more try. I'm glad I did. I didn't sit quite as far under the hood which immediately stopped the "overheating" smell and the fan seemed to stop its rattling. I guess it was user causing the problems and not the dryer!!! LOL!! Anyway, this dryer dries my hair quite quickly and leaves it looking shiny. Doesn't seem to be damaging. Glad I bought it (and kept it!!)

So easy to assemble which is great because it didn't come with a manual. It dried my hair so quick I couldn't believe it. Best investment. I hope it will also last long.

Okay. So I got this for my birthday and was nearly about to post a negative review because what happened in the negative reviews happened to me & I was like oh I want my money back even though it was gift. Pretty much the top has to screw on to the pole part, it’s takes a while to get on that’s why when I initially tried to do that when I first got it I thought it wasn’t meant for that. Anyways mine is cracked for all the times it’s dropped from not being stable & now that it’s securely on, it’s not going anywhere. I wish I could tell the people who wrote bad reviews, but IYKYK.

I use this when I get migraines. My last one last eat 2 years and that is constant use since I am a chronic migraine suffer. Does not dry out my long very thick hair and dries it fast when I use it with wet hair
