Works perfectly
This descaler works exactly as described. It’s easy to use and made my coffee machine feel brand new again. One bottle lasts for 3 uses, which is very convenient. Highly recommend for anyone with a Delonghi, Nespresso, or Dolce Gusto machine!

Size.
Very small for the price of the item, why don't Amazon have a size image comparison on products.

Good but not a lot of uses
This descaler works really well and did a great job cleaning my coffee machine. I didn’t need to use a lot of the product to get good results, although you don’t get many uses out of the bottle, so I used slightly less than recommended. I ran the machine through the cleaning cycle more than once just to make sure it was completely flushed out. I’ve used other descalers before that left a strange aftertaste, but this one didn’t at all, which I really appreciated — it’s clearly designed specifically for coffee machines. I would definitely recommend running an extra cycle with clean water afterwards to be safe, but overall I’m very happy with the results. It did clean my machine well and didn’t have an awful smell. My machine takes a while to descale!! In all honesty, you can find cheaper alternatives in Tesco etc but I did feel like this worked better? No aftertaste etc

This solution worked great on my DeLonghi Espresso maker. I used the whole bottle as my machine has a large water tank, and it worked easily, quickly and after flushing it once, left no taste in my fresh espresso. I'll definitely be buying this again. It is a good value and it works.

Summary: Miracle reviving juice for your Keurig if you have hard water scale/buildup but despise the smell of vinegar (especially steaming-hot vinegar, blecchhh). But the directions are awful - read Amazon reviews to get better directions, and be sure to do Step 2 (remove water filter, if you have one) before Step 1 (fill reservoir). I just moved across town to a newly-built house in April. My 3-yr-old Keurig, which was already leaking a little bit, came with. But a couple weeks later it developed an alarmingly loud knocking sound during the heat cycle, and the leak worsened a lot. So I got a new Keurig. Within a month (!!) that too started knocking loudly. At first I thought, "Good grief, they just dont build these to last anymore!" (this was my 3rd Keurig; my first lasted 9 yrs, the 2nd only a couple years before the leaking started). But then I started to notice other issues around the house...crazy water-spot buildup in sinks & showers, dusty-feeling dishes fresh from the brand-new dishwasher, etc. Talking to new neighbors I learned the water in this area is insanely hard - somewhere between 17-23, crikey. And then it came time to change my Keurig's water filter. I removed the filter-holder "tower" from the reservoir and took it to the sink. It looked awful - dry & dusty - and a light rub of my finger caused scaly bits of "dander" to fall from it. Egads. And this was when it was only 2 months old. Never in my life owned a water softener system, but my new Keurig showed me that it clearly was needed - I could only imagine the toll that this water was taking on pipes, valves, and all other water appliances. So, I did get one installed. But now had to try reparations for this poor little Keurig due to the grueling punishment it had endured in its short life. My friends all recommended vinegar of course: super-cheap. But I can't stand the smell of it. And the thought of having to abide multiple cycles of steaming aromatic vinegar? No thank you. I'd rather smell dog's breath. So I bought this, and thanks to other helpful reviewers, knew better than to fully trust the absurd directions that came with it. Here's what to do, if you have hard-water buildup (like water lines on your reservoir &/or dusty-looking filter holder): 1. Remove the filter from your filter-holder (if your Keurig has one in its reservoir). Put the empty filter-holder back in the reservoir. Discard the old filter, or rinse it thoroughly with fresh water & set it aside. 2. Pour half the bottle of solution in the reservoir, and fill the reservoir to the very top with clean water - so that it covers the entire filter-holder (dont replace the lid on the reservoir) 3. Let this solution sit for 30 minutes. 4. Then, turn on the Keurig and once it has heated, start running largest-possible cup cycles thru it. 5. Repeat all those cycles until u need to refill the reservoir. 6. The directions say to refill & cycle thru three more complete reservoir fillings, but I did only 2 and it was fine. My Keurig made some strange and struggling noises during the procedure, but by the end of the 2nd reservoir, seemed healthy & happy. 7. Put a fresh filter in the filter holder, fill reservoir with fresh water, and you're ready to go. After this detox, my Keurig has completely stopped knocking, the reservoir and filter-holder sparkle like new, and I hopefully have a couple more years of life left before i have to buy Keurig #4 (fingers crossed on that, though ... seems nothing is built to last these days)
