I gave an overall rating of 4 because they do not always stay on my boots. I am a woman size 7. I got the medium, which I also got for my husband. My husband is men's size 8.5. The cleats stay on his hiking boots nicely. I think this product runs a little large for the sizing chart. I should have gotten size small and would have been writing a five star review. In any case they are very effective for driveway and sidewalks that thaw and freeze. I walk in the woods a lot, they tend to slip off when doing the ice, mud, sand thing. Good news is they are easy to spot in the snow when they do fall off. The great news is that driveway and sidewalk walking they give me a great deal of confidence, I am not always bracing for a fall. This is a good product and an essential for my winter walking.

These are my favorite cleats ever. I've had at least four different pair and I like these the best. They're very easy to put on and completely cover your boot. I like the fact that they come with replacement spikes. Highly recommend!

Pros: it stays on the shoe, and does its job. Didn’t slip even once walking the dogs. (Fell 2x two days ago)Cons: it does move around, as it it were loose and needed to tighten (which you can’t) but this doesn’t bother me enough to return. I would rather not fall.

These carryown ice cleats are great! They are stretchy and both the medium and large fit my muck boots and work boots. Absolutely essential for these last two weeks of slick ice covered snow and feeding my sheep and horses. They came with a pack of replacement studs/cleats too!

I bought these ice cleats to wear when going outside to my car, as my yard always ices over in the winter, and frankly, I am sicking of falling all the time. They will keep you from having to "walk like a penguin" over ice and snow and give you a renewed sense of security. However, I misplaced one of the straps that holds the cleats to your shoe, and even though the cleat felt secure on my shoe, I did lose it after the second day. The cleats can and will slip off your shoe if they are not properly secured by the strap. I will have to order another pair now. Also, if you are wearing these just to go out and about for the day and not slip on ice, I would recommend bringing a change of footwear to wear indoors because these are a little difficult to take on and off the shoe, especially with the velcro strap attached. It's easier to just change shoes for indoors.
