update on the open lid problem....
i have looked at many copic marker storage ideas. I really wanted to be able to store original and sketch markers in the same container. I found I wasn't using my copics as often as my other markers because they were so difficult to get to and get out. the box is designed really well. the markers are so secure and protected. I have put them in order and made a sheet (colored in the blank sheet from the copic web site) I store it in the lid. so I can easily see what color I want. here is the only problem that I can find with the box. the problem is that the lid gets in my way when I'm sitting at my craft desk coloring. when it flips back and I move the box around to see what markers to get, it bumps into other items on my table. I wish I had a way to remove the lid and then click it back on later to put them away. this is an addition to my review. I have been using this marker storage box a few weeks and I found that if I was very careful I could gently push the lid hinges down and remove the top from the box. I have only done this a few times. then I found I could store the box without the lid and add it if I wanted to take it anywhere. I know they don't recommend this and you would have to be careful, but this really works for me. when I store my box I can easily get to it without spilling the markers. it worked for me and now I'm really happy

You will have to make some modifications to keep from accidentally tossing your markers when the case is open.
I have a complete set of Spectrum Noir alcohol markers, plus a few extras, totaling 181 markers. I bought 2 bins and 2 of the extra insert trays. I down graded this review because when I stood them on end, open, for a photo everything came tumbling out! I was able to recover-but there are some design flaws here. The clips that hold the trays in place just slide in, but they don't lock in. The hinged lid can't be removed easily, or at least appears that the hinges could be damaged by doing so frequently when standing the case upright for use. That leaves me with, "Where do I place them, open for use of the markers, with the lid sticking out?" Awkward at best. Then, I have to figure out a temporary way to keep the legs of the marker trays in the bin tracks in case I need to change the configuration for any reason. I hate to just glue them in, but that may be the best solution. It truly is a good design, but stops short on the little annoyances we crafters notice because we have to use these products.UPDATE: I contacted ArtBin and here is what they told me. YES you can take the lids off at the hinges and put them back on later. They are made to be able to do this, and the bin have a lifetime warranty should the hinges break. To secure the grid racks in the tracks they recommended hot glue or or Gorilla glue. So...I used hot glue at the top of the track to act as a stopper so the trays can't slide out. My logic is that if I ever have to remove them it will be easier to remove the hot glue than Gorilla glue! I am leaving the review at 4 stars because I shouldn't have to DIY a fix on a product I bought for the job at hand.

Marker bin doesn't come with tray
This plastic bin with lid and one side handle seems a great way to organize markers but it didn't come with the marker tray. Luckily I bought one as I wanted to use the entire bin for markers. Now I'll have to buy another one. The latch seems a bit wimpy. How it turns out to be more durable that it appears on first use.

One Marker for All!
Perfect for any brand or type of marker storage! What I really like is that I can get all of them in ONE PLACE as opposed to this box I was keeping them mixed up in and couldn't find a thing! Spent more time looking than coloring it was really frustrating. So I REALLY LIKE that each marker can be placed in its own slot so I can easily see whenever one is missing. That wasn't so when I had them all jumbled up in the box. Admittedly it took some time to set it up this way but when you swear you have OCD when it comes to organizing then it's done before you know it. I have a mini notebook that lists each of the markers by color and brand I keep in the bin. So I'm more than pleased with this purchase as well because even though I'm disabled I can carry it with my weaker hand. Plus it's been worth every penny not to keep picking them up off the floor 1000x a day! I'd highly recommend this product to anyone who also uses markers in their adult coloring books or any mom with little budding artists who love to color as much as I do too. Just being able to keep them in one place has to help reduce stress and anxiety for moms too! I have my Sharpies, Crayolas and some off brand I picked up somewhere and it's so pretty seeing them all together!

Great storage!
This was the perfect companion to the markers we bought!

Useful, safe storage.
V. Useful for storing a variety of art materials, but mainly for a large variety of pens which are very visible and easy to select. A touch expensive but really fits the bill for me. But for these boxes, I’d have pens all over the place!

This storage case is generally good. I bought it in order to store several dozen Copic markers that I own. It's sturdy, the latch seems to close snugly and I was able to fit a few pads of some scrapbooking paper into the case as planned. The only negative is that the inside configuration of the "grid" that all the markers go in is interrupted where two "notches" for a divider can be used. The grid goes around both notches, but the two slots on either side of the notches are shortened so that markers the thickness of my Copics don't fit. So even though they advertise 64 spaces for markers, the 4 shortened spaces would only work for something thin like a pencil or regular pen. You can only get 60 Copics to fit and I believe that similar Prismacolor markers would have the same issue. So just a heads-up.

I love it because I can store all my cricut markers in it and they are easily accessible now. I even bought another one.

Great storage unit for pens up to 150mm
Bought one of these to keep my Spectrum Noir and cheap Chinese Copic copies. Very useful box, the storage racks hold the pens securely and make it very easy to keep them in order. Pens longer than 150mm won’t fit without causing the top to bow.

Good product, overall. Some brands of markers are slightly too long to fit.
Arrived with a cracked corner, but I did receive it on a cold day and that may have happened during the shipping. Does what it's supposed to do. Wish there were more marker slots. Some markers are a bit too long. To accommodate more brands of markers, it should be a little bit taller.
