smooth and rich
I have tried several brands of Nespresso pods and even was asking my spouse to mule some from Europe where they are move common and cheaper. The Nespresso brand pod were all strong which is great but they were not smooth. They all carried a after-bite that stayed on the tongue. Then I started looking at what I could get on Amazon and again tried several brands. This was hands-down the richest and smoothest. I can get seriously addicted to this brand. I love it and it wasn't the cheapest but well worth the cost. I also like the Battisteno brand. They are not as strong and rich but still make a good espresso and they come in flavors. I like the Orange. Strange but very good.

Roastesso - Espresso Coffee Capsules (Sunset Decaf, 10 Count (Pack of 4))
There are many things I like about this Roastesso coffee:1) Taste great to me2) Very difficult to find decaf coffee for nespresso original machines3) Great value4) The pods work great on my nespresso original machine. I have not had any issues with these pods.I have read some of the reviews about the bad taste. A few of the pods were over roasted but were drinkable. This is not a big deal to me because in reality nothing is perfect. This is my 3 order and I only had a few over roasted pods with my first order and not since.

Updated: Good Customer Service
UPDATE: I was contacted by the CEO of Roastesso addressing my experience. And while taste is subjective, their customer service has been amazing!ORIGINAL: As my first foray into Nespresso-compatible pods, I'm not overly impressed. The price is attractive, made in America is attractive. And I'm the first to admit decaf coffees taste a little "off", but I dont always want 85 mg of caffeine at 9pm. And at 50% of Nespresso's price I was willing to chance it. Sadly this espresso decaf tastes like drip decaf. But perhaps that's because my Nespresso machine doesn't know when to stop with these. It just goes on and on. This may be due to Roastesso's pods being shorter than the original Nespresso pods (see photo). I have reached out to Roastesso for recommendations, or barring that, return instructions.

Great Coffee! Great Customer Service!
Love this company and this coffee! I live on a remote island and they don’t sell pods from any vendor here. I took to amazon to find a good affordable option that shipped to me. I tried Roastresso and was first impressed by how quickly it arrived half way around the world. The quality of the coffee is also very smooth and delicious. Dare I say I like it better than the real Nspresso pods. Once I was having an issue with my machine, where the pods weren’t punching through the foil. I thought maybe since it was a spin-off brand that the size of the product was off and I had a bad batch. I wrote to the customer service and they asked me to check the interior of my machine to see if a piece of pod foil was possibly stuck inside - and it was! SO not only is their coffee great but they helped me fix my machine :) Highly recommend!

Good flavor, nightmarish functionality
We started ordering these for the cost difference and found the flavor to be comparable to Nespresso pods. Great that they are biodegradable. We've ordered them for awhile, and now that they are a steady part of my routine, the differences between these and Nespresso first thing in the morning are starting to irk me.For instance, I always run 2 pods in my coffee cup, but with these, I have to run the first one, eject it, wait for the machine to cool down sufficiently, run the second one, then be sure to eject it too. Anything after the first run means I have to keep a dental tool nearby to encourage the second pod to not get stuck in the machine, which is does about 50% of the time. Once it gets stuck, you use the dental tool to eject it in one piece, which happens about 50% of the time; the rest of the time the foil pulls off dumping grounds everything, and sometimes the entire pods starts to come apart. Not the ease I want at 5 a.m.Then there is the extra liquid. With Nespresso pods, you can fill the entire pod reservioir with used capsules, just dump it and start over. With these, by the time the pod reservoir is full, so is the entire tray underneath, which is just waiting to dump coffee-tinted water all over your counter. Again, not what I want at 5 a.m.If you are a single pod drinker, these will probably be fine. But if you're in need of 2 or more pods in the morning, it may be worth it to stick with Nespresso.

Works with orginal Nespresso Essenza Mini, Flavor better than Peet's, amazing value.
no problems using with my machine, price per pod can't be beat. The flavor is amazing, strong without being bitter or burnt tasting. Tastes/feels more like "real" coffee or espresso to me than peet's or even nespresso pods. It has more of french press texture than a paper filter texture to it; it doesn't have grounds in it but it is also not the hyper filtered, translucent product you get with a paper filter, if that makes any sense. Really impressed with the quality and value.

Better than expected and a bargain compared to Nespresso pods
My wife and I really enjoy the cubanito pods. Robust, with low acidity. The flavor is more "coffee" than the espresso profile of most Nespresso pods, and that's nice when you want something a little different (normally, we drink roma or arpeggio pods from Nespresso). I find these work best as a cafe con leche or cappuccino, rather than as an espresso shot. The pods worked without issue in our Lattissima. The fact that they're far cheaper than Nespresso makes them a real bargain.

False ads, broke my nespresso machine
Update 0525It gets stuck in my Nespresso Citiz machine, this is not the first time. My machine now catches original nesprrsso pods in it. It broke my machine. Very upset. Should've thrown away. They don't accept returns , needless to say they don't care that their pods break my machine. The webdite provides false ads and description--------------, which led my machine broken, and it's all my fault that i trusted the seller and Amazon. Dont be stupid like me.--------------It takes forever for the machine to stop. It almost burnt my machine. Obviously it is not NP compatible. The description is a total lie. It also tastes like water. Very weak.
