Good for Straight Cuts
Works well as expected. It requires some practice to have a clean break. The arm is a big help in holding the piece in place.

works great, and is a perfect size.
Aside from the horrible sound it makes when you score the tiles, it works great. Practice on a scrap tile! After the first couple it became easy and I got amazing strait cuts. As good if not better than my wet saw. Do note that if you need to "shave" off less than an inch, this is not going to work for you. You WILL need a wet saw for removing slivers of tile. This is great for cutting an inch or more off a tile.

Made with weak materials, poor results, not recommended at all.
Very sorry I purchased this tile cutter. I'm not one for cheap tools but thought I'd take a chance. Lazer is useless, the top rail the cutter slides on is very flimsy and feels like its going to detroy itself it you lean on the handle too hard. Additionaly there is a raised piece of rubber at the end of the slide that holds the tile up above the bottom rail creating a small gap between the front of the tile and the end closest to you. If the tile is brittle it will break left to right instead of on the line you scored. Who ever decided to add this has never cut tile. I tried multiple types of tile on this cutter with poor results. I don't recommend this cutter, not even for small jobs, I'm sending it back.

Good value for the price, works well with a little practice
Used this on a project laying 24x48 porcelain tiles. Was able to do 48" long rip cuts 5" wide without a problem. The built in laser was helpful but needs some adjusting to get perfectly aligned. I also double checked alignment at both ends before doing cuts.I had one tile break during the cutting process. Might have been I didn't press down hard enough doing the scoring or the cutting wheel wore out. I swapped out the cutting wheel and the rest of the cuts were fine after that.Overall for the price, the build quality seemed good and it works well with a little practice. If you are only doing a small amount of tile laying, this can be a good choice.

Doesn't cut a straight line. Unable to cut angles with this. Basically it's useless
The product seems to be made well but was unable to get it to cut a tile without it chipping. Also it does not cut a straight line. On top of that it cannot cut angles without breaking the tile not matter how much you score it. Not my first time using this type of cutter. The rule on it is junk. It MIGHT be good enough if you need to cut tile that is not angled and you are going to cover the ends of the tile with trim where you cannot see the crooked cuts. It does cut tile but not very good and not at an angle. Returned it and just used a wet saw to complete the job. Worked 100% better than this.

Works great, No complaints
I bought 1,000sf of 6x36 wood plank tiles and needed a big cutter to install them. Reviews were so-so but the price was excellent so I gave it a shot. I’m impressed with how it cuts, I can rip 36” strips as narrow as about 3/4” and I’m only using the saw for complex cuts. I did take the advice of another reviewer and upgraded the scoring wheel and haven’t even tried the original, but the cutter is plenty sturdy and accurate and it works better than I ever imagined it would. The laser beam is wide and gets out of adjustment easily but it adjusts with a #1 Phillips screwdriver. I prefer marking both ends of a long cut and lining up the scoring wheel anyway. Maybe I don’t know what I’m missing out on with a more expensive cutter, but this one does everything I want it to and works better than I ever imagined it would.
