Colourful music making
It is a great bright recorder for the price. Came with a cleaning stick and matching bag.Takes me back in time (although my recorder was the brown/cream variety!) and I am having fun showing my child how to play it.

Ok for practicing
Ok for practicing when your precious rose wood recorder has to have a rest. The colour makes you happy.

Bright and noisy
Positives 1) very bright colour2) loud (maybe it could be quieter if you are not a beginner)3) waterproof4) if owner gets lost on a rainy mountain, search and rescue will almost certainly be able to either see the recorder or hear it from some distance.Negatives 1) not sure how the hamster feels about the noise2) not sure how the neighbours feel about the noise3) seems pretty indestructible4) also hard to lose down back of furniture as is bright redMaybe buy some ear defenders.

Great alternative to the traditional brown or white recorder
A great school recorder and fab colour. It's just a shame it's not a silent recorder but that's more to do with son's playing than the recorder!
