A Very Merry Romance: Madaris Series, Book 21

Another great book by Ms Jackson. This was my favorite book by her this year. Once I started I could not put book down until I finished. I now understand the Madaris pride which we saw in Dex, Clayton and Christie. I enjoyed learning about the Bannister family as well. I was always curious about Marilyn and Jonathan's story after seeing their support and impact on each of their children's lives especially when Marilyn shared her story with Syneda. I loved Jonathan's pursuit of Marilyn. His son's had same traits once they found their soulmates. This book was worth the wait and it was great to catch up with rest of family.

I have been waiting for this book since Clayton & Syneda's story. I remember asking Mrs. Jackson about Jonathan & Marilyn's story during one of her book tours and she did not disappoint!I thoroughly enjoyed the character development of this group of Madaris men and friends, as well as getting to know Marilyn's family and friends. Seeing the links from the first 20 books coming together in this novel was worth the wait and the price.The romance & stubbornness between Jonathan and Marilyn were mind blowing. I also appreciated seeing the closeness between Jonathan and his brother, Robert...and seeing the development of Robert & Diana's romance blossom.This novel opens the door for more flashback stories, which would be great. I am waiting on a Nora & Syntel story. Could it happen?!

I already loved Jonathan and Marilyn Madaris from what I would read about them. I had read other Madaris books but for them to have their own story to show us how they met and fell in love is just wonderful. A great storyline with believable characters. Sometimes when authors want to take us back they rush the story and haphazardly put it together-not the case here. This was a well thought out story and told wonderfully. Great job Mrs. Jackson.

Marilyn and Jonathan's relationship was without a doubt romantic. From the opening credits you recognize that respect and dedication would be the foundation of their long story. As Marilyn takes us on the journey of how her and Jonathan came to be, you realize how one overzealous moment could have changed the trajectory of their relationship.

This was a great look back at the beginnings of the Jonathon and Marilyn family line. As the parents/grandparents of the stars of many of the other Madaris Saga books it was wonderful to see how they met and produced such a fantastic family. This was also a great look at long term, enduring love in many couples.

As usual Ms Jackson delivered another great story about the Madaris family. I throughly enjoyed reading the story of Marilyn and Johnathan, the love they shared in spite on the misunderstanding. This family had always supported each other. Well done looking forward to the next book in this series.

Ms. Jackson has done it again, great read. Glad to read about Jonathan and Marilyn relationship. Very beautiful and romantic. Read it in 1 sitting. Looking forward to more books by Ms. Jackson.

Gave good background to how their story started. Would reading againAnd again to really get the complete understanding of the family.

Another good book. But - and I put this down to my scary memory and the fact that I’ve read all the Madaris books - I think there might be a continuity issue (depending on when A Very Merry Christmas is set). Roman Malone is a live character in this book but in Slade Madaris’ book Slow Burn, it references his having died two years previously. Bit confusing that? but I guess when there are upwards of 20 books in a series, this can happen! As I said initial it’s another good book from Ms Jackson.

Long overdue. It made me laugh and cry. It was nice to see how Madaris Pride and Love began. Just beautiful.
