Since both my husband and I have developed arthritis in our thumbs, opening jars was becoming very painful. I have other manual helpful devices, but even with these I could not open all jars. So I bought this device and it works perfectly. We’ve opened pickle jars, jelly jars and salsa jars and it handled each with ease. You do have to hold the button down quite awhile, so some people might not do that and then it doesn’t work. But if you hold it until it is well into its cycle, it works great. I don’t know how long it will last, but worth every penny for just what it’s done so far and it won’t break the bank to replace should that become necessary.

This item stopped working after a couple of uses, contacted company and was told a new one would be sent, I never received. Recontacted to let them know and have not received a response, so now I am writing a review and looking to order from a different company!

It was easy to load the batteries and had easy instructions to follow. I opened almost every jar I had in the house to see how well it worked on a variety of previously unopened and opened jars, as well as differing sizes. Worked like a charm.

I have moderate carpel tunnel and arthritis. My hands are not as strong as they used to be and this tool really works on opening difficult jars. No more hunting for a neighbor to help open a jar when my hubby isn’t home!

For big jars and I don’t know what I could use it for but unfortunately I waited too long to send it back

Got this for my mother in law. We love it! Easy to use and only one button to push! Works with multiple size jars! I may order another for myself!
