I love the clip on the end. Different style than traditional. Easy to open and stays open until you push it back onto the collar ring. Then it closes over it. I have large pit and it is holding up well. I like the handle 1/3 of the way up the leash. It allows for good head control while training for heal an other commands. The full leash has a bungee which is great if your dog goes to pull after something. It gives a cushion versus a solid leash. Helpful when you have a large dog. It stops the initial strain on your arm when they pull. My dog usually stays in the heal position while walking so I mainly put my arm through the loop on the end over my biceps and walk. He stays in heal and if needed this allows me to grab the other handle quickly to control head movement if another dog is approaching or an unwanted human. This design in a leash was key helping me to train my dog to the next level. Good head control and comfortable grips. It’s now my go to leash and plan on getting another in the future.Only down side is after a lot of use I do mean a lot. The clasp finish which on mine is black. Has started to wear and chip. That’s to be expected from this kind finish and a lot of wear and tear on it. Considering it’s still in good shape and it’s mainly on the inside where it hooks over the collars ring. So it’s not really a negative it’s to be expected.

Perfect leash for our pup. I've had this leash for 1month and I'm not sure what I would do without it.I like the seat belt clip feature but my most favorite component is the handle near the harness for close walking without hurting my hand. Great job designers!

Remarkable leash.My lovely bride does a lot of traveling on the road and on a ferry, and this leash is a perfect addition to our large, energetic dog’s travel harness to make life easier for both of them.The exceptional clasp, built-in bungee, the short handle and the build quality make it perfect forour needs.Planning to buy another soon, so that one is always available close at hand.

I purchased this leash for my 80lb Bluetick Coonhound puppy. It works great! The traffic grip I wish were about 6 inches longer, as he can't even sniff the ground when I'm using it, and that can be a good and bad thing.The main grip has a decent lead and when extended by the bungie, actually fairly long. Just below the main grip is the seatbelt attachment. This is very helpful to have and I use it often, though I wish it were closer to the midpoint of the leash as it gives them a lot of room to move, more than I'm confortable with on a long ride.Overall, I prefer this leash for walks and trips to the dogpark. I haven't taken him hiking with it yet, so we shall see. The collar clasp is very high quality seems like it will hold up long term.

This leash is pretty great. The clip that attached to the ring on the collar or harness is well made. You have to squeeze bother sides, simultaneously, in order to open the clip. It stays open until either pressed closed from the outside, or, when attaching to the ring, which, when contacting the levers from the inside, causes it to close. A decently thought out design. The one suggestion I can make would be a flip over latch that would prevent accidental opening of the levers, so as to prevent release of the leash from the collar or harness. As it is, if the clip lever is pressed against only one side, as could very well happen if your dog runs into some brush, or something like it, the other side still stays in place around the ring to secure the leash. It seems very unlikely that both levers would be actuated under such circumstances. The leash is normally about 4 feet long but will stretch to about 6 feet due to the elastic bungee section. There is a handle close to the attachment point for better control, as well as one at the end of the leash, as per usual. Both handles are padded and comfortable to grip during a long walk. Additionally, about halfway down the handle there is a clip which can be attached into a vehicle seat belt buckle to help secure your pet during a car ride. The sticking for all points is either multi row stitching or bar tack, so it's designed to hold up to big dogs. All in all, this leash is worth the few extra dollars over a standard rope leash.

High quality leash for our 110 lb Belgian Malinois/ German Shepard. The elasticity in the leash really makes walk much easier, with less pulling from our dog. Light weight, versatile, and secure latch. Perfect size for daily walks. And extremely comfortable, padded handle. I highly recommend this leash.

I have a giant German Shepard/Mallinois (Belgian Shepard) mix. If you own one, you know how unpredictable and strong they can be. My wife is very short, the dog’s head comes up to her chest. I have bought several leashes and the dog has managed to snap a couple of them, bite through others, even when a puppy. Becuase of the major strength/torque these dogs have and if you weigh less then 160lbs, they can rip you off your feet. This leash stops that. Not only is it strong, there is play in it that allows some of that power to be released so it doesn’t pull you and doesn’t pull against the dog, just takes it’s momentum out of it. It has a mid gripping plastic handled loop that is comfortable and does not cut into your hand, but also, it allows the dog to be comfortable with it on. Normal leashes will yank back if there is weight behind it and will upset your dog, making it want to pull more. This protects you and them. It’s almost like doing the loop method with a leash but allows you to still control the movements of the dog without it hurting or causing discomfort. I really like the design. The only flaw though is the metal latch. It’s strong metal, but it sometimes sticks open. I use WD40 and it’s fine again, just clean it every once in a while and silicon/grease the joints where it opens/closes and it will be fine. The Tactical look also doesn’t hurt. ;)Update 4/6/25: The above article was written a couple of years back now, still have this leash. Still works great. I own several leashes for this dog and this one is still the best leash i have ever bought!
