Silvine 8x5" White Record Cards - Plain, 100 cards per pack. Ref 785 (203 x 127mm)

These are some very nice cards. They aren't overly thick, but are stiff enough to be handled and, most importantly for me, be printed on without the image leeching through to the other side or getting stuck in the printer.For reference, I'm using a Canon MG3650, but I don't see any reason why they wouldn't work just as well in any other printer.As a final bonus, they are at least £1 cheaper from Amazon as from any other shop I could find that sells them. Sweet!

These are perfect exactly what i wanted have already started using them. They are sturdy and the exact size I need.

I brought these to make flashcards and have used about 150 so far. My only requirements were for the cards to be suitably large and as low a price as I could find them.I brought the 6"x4" as they are the cheapest of the sizes and also happened to be about the size I was looking for. They have made fantastic flashcards incomparable to the messy paper flashcards I used to use. Being card they are more solid than paper cards and more importantly are not transparent. My OCD also appreciates the fact that they are all exactly the same size.But these cards no longer meet my requirements (hence, only 4 stars). At least at the time of this review, the plain white 6"x4" cards are £2.42 for 100 whereas, the 4 colour variant by the same brand and at the same size are £1.79 for 100 (it may not sound like much but they are 26% cheaper). So when I came to buy a 3rd pack of flashcards I went for the multicoloured option, something to consider if you are buying these.

I received my two packs of blank index cards in perfect condition. I am so pleased that I bought them because they are perfect for my purposes. I am using them to keep track of all the books I own by printing the title and author on one side and the synopsis, print date etc for the books on the other. Printing on these cards is a breeze and I use different fonts, colours and font sizes to echo the front of the dust jackets. The cards are not too thick which is perfect in my humble opinion because I do believe that even printing on them adds to the thickness. I read this somewhere on Google and it seems plausible to me. The fact that the cards are not too thick just means that I can get more into my 6 x 4 transparent Osco index box which I bought here on Amazon too. The cards are perfect because now I know exactly what book I own and now have dramatically reduced my tendency to duplicate buy due to forgetting what books I already have! Idiotic I know but apparently I am not alone in doing this! I will be buying more cards (and another index box) when I finish using up the 200 I have ordered. Yes, I own that many books! Also I was thinking of using them for my University degree in Psychology when it comes to making notes for essays etc. Having all that stuff in one place really makes life so much easier, trust me. Go ahead and buy them! You will find many uses for them such as recipes, addresses, and I even know someone who pastes peoples business cards to them! Just brilliant!

In my haste to buy some cards, I bought these without properly reading about them. Lines are imperative for me, for most of us who need to use these sorts of cards. IDEALLY, any responsible seller should be more clear in the headlines. I suspect a number of others are making the same mistake and like me not bothering with a return. So I am stuck with them and have no real use for them. I did try creating my own lines, but that was just too time-consuming so abandoned my efforts and got them from the local supermarket.

Good, thick paper with no bleed and a slight craggly texture.

Fast delivery so I can't complain. Came 3 days early (ordered yesterday, arrived today).The cards are MASSIVE. I wasn't expecting them to be so big. I usually order 'normal' plain record cards and I needed something bigger. I once accidentally bought slightly bigger cards (from a different retail store but still Silvine) and wanted to order the same again. I actually thought these were the same size but these are huge. I was expecting something half the size. It's still good to use as book halves stuck together with washi tape. The only complaint is that it feels thinner than the normal sized record cards. It feels less like card and more like paper (somewhere in between really). Not sure why that is.
