220V COB Strip 20M

Brilliant. Exactly what I wanted, a super bright portable and robust LED tape that plugs straight into 230V. Good quality and easily uncoils around a room, gazebo etc. Now buying the warm white version too.

TL;DR - the light has completely failed after 10 months despite being mounted indoors. Ordered this to fit above a plaster coving in the dining room of my Victorian house. On the plus side, it is VERY bright. Which was what we wanted. Also, it is very flexible and easy to get around the curves of the shape of the room. And you cannot see the individual LED's. It truly is a rope of light. On the negative side, it was, for us, very difficult to fit. We had to resort to using industrial Velcro. But the Velcro adhesive does not adhere to the silicone material. So we had to buy a specialized Cyanoacrylate designed to stick to the silicone of the light. It strobes very badly. If you move anything, or move your eyes, it's very uncomfortable. It also gets very hot. It has one star because after ten months, it has simply stopped working. So now I have to source another light and go through all the pain of installing that one!!!

perfect in every sense. exactly what I needed to finish a feature wall off and make it subtle and not too modern with day light white or rgb colours.

When it worked it was a nice light and perfect spectrum but went faulty after a couple of months so didn’t work out for me.

Actually i like it , it is slim and cant see dark spots and size is more practical than neon lights , it is very bright as well

Looked great for two month, then just stopped working completely. Tried everything to get it back working but it has completely gone.

TTWAY 220V COB LED Strip 20m I wasn't really sure what I was receiving here as the only strip lighting I've ever had has been that which contains coloured Christmas lights, this turns out to be a totally different thing. You are supplied with a 20 metre long strip light which is neatly coiled around a cardboard holder. Also in the box are 2 packs of plastic clips, along with short screws to hold the lighting in place. The LED strip itself is made from a very flexible silicone rubber material so is waterproof for outside application. This is rated as IP65 which means the following: 'IP65 Rating means the product has the highest level of dust protection, and is able to withstand low-pressure water jets from all directions'. So this is able to be used outside, but should not be placed on the ground where puddles of water may form. This is a total of 20 metres in length, which should be enough for quite a large room or patio area. A power cable is attached on the end of the strip lighting, this has a 3 pin wall plug attached. There is no on/off switch so the lighting will need to be controlled via the wall plug. It does appear by the Amazon listing that this can be cut to a desired length if you wish, but there are no instructions included in the box, so I cannot be 100% sure of this? There is no mention of power consumption in the box either, but the listing mentions 10 watts per 1 metre of lighting, if so then this 20 metre strip light will consume around 200 watts of power? Overall this will look super cool when fitted, the lighting is really quite bright too when switched on. I would say double sided tape would be the best way to install this as the clips may look a little ugly if not installed correctly. It would have been nice to have had some instructions included to describe how to shorten this?
