Toys like this don’t bother me. His rhythm is not no5 real good yet so there’s lots of noise not music. It has handle the beating really well. It would make a great gift but I’d ask the parent first.

this assembles as well as it dissembles. I have had to keep up with all the pieces vigilantly due to my very messy adventurous toddler. I didn't have high hopes for this, I honestly thought my 3-year-old was too old, but he is obsessed with drums and is still playing with this item. the wood is nice and doesn't appear cheap, great for a toddlers first drum set.

My son really enjoys this drum set with a few modifications. The box arrived badly damaged both times I ordered it. Also, the cymbal top piece was missing both orders so I had to use a regular screw to get it to stay on. The wood block, I will need to glue because it falls off at the slightest tap. Despite these issues, my son does enjoy playing with it, its just not something I would ever gift with this many issues out of the box.
