Great little device for under £20
Bought this intended as a temporary measure for my elderly mum who recently had a fall. Was a bit dubious after reading some of the reviews but thought for 20 quid was worth a try. It is actually an amazing but of kit. Many reviews say it's difficult to set up. As long as your router works with 2.4ghz, which most do but sometimes this isn't enabled. If yours isn't, there are plenty of online guides on how to do it. Setup took about 10 minutes after installing the required app. Now when mum presses the button, an alert gets sent to me, my wife and my sister which takes about 30 seconds to arrive. You can add as many recipients as you like. The alert isn't very loud, but it beeps incessantly until acknowledged. We've tested it over a dozen times with 100% success rate.Fantastic little device for peace of mind at a bargain price.

Only works in a few rooms
Connecting it was ok. Putting the neck cord through the hole was not easy even with supplied pin.Inserting the sim type pin into a tiny hole in the back to set up is poor, a button would have been better.Only works in a few rooms and not in the garden or kitchen at all. Though my wifi range goes across the street and covers all my rooms. Will be good if my husband falls sitting next to the home hub!!Doesn't seem to be reliable enough to be much use.It cost extra for phone calls £11 for 50. So far not impressed. I had expected to connect it to my husbands phone which would then call me.

Not great
Started off fine but now letting us down constantly, isn’t alarming it just doesn’t want to work. Shame as when it worked it was great but now we need it it’s letting us down and doesn’t seem any way in app to sort it

Move away from router when setting up
This is working perfectly between my elderly mum and my phone. Had trouble setting it up as 5 is too strong but realised if I moved away from internet box the signal dropped and I was able to set the alarm up.

Great Product - Highly Recommend
Depending what you are looking for this product was perfect for our needs. My mother lives alone, and had an accident in June this year. She had left her mobile downstairs and was unable to move on the landing for 3 hours. We bought this device as it connects to her WiFi and with the download of an app sends a notification straight to mine and my sisters phone. The notification reads ‘help there is an emergency’. The device is easy to press and we have had a couple of false alarms but we have just text/rang to check in and it has eliminated our fear of Mum being left alone for hours with no help. This device is no good if family live far away (unless you chance ringing emergency services if you can’t get an answer when ringing) or if there is no WiFi to connect it too. But if you live close by and want peace of mind this is perfect. The battery life is good, we charged it when we bought it in June and it hasn’t been charged since.
