Very nice, good looking and comfortable shoes.
I ordered these in March after finally caving in and deciding that my 10+ year old gym shoes were just too old and falling apart. I don't really run or jog, and I don't spend as much time at the gym as I probably should. But I do go for long walks, I do hit the treadmill now and again, and I attend various kinds of fitness or dance classes. But must importantly I travel a lot and need something versatile for all-day city exploring, maybe the occasional hike.I normally wear a 7.5, sometimes 7. I ordered these in 7.5 and found that they fit very well. At first I thought that it had too much padding in the arches, and that I didn't really need the extra arch support. For awhile I thought the extra arch support was too intrusive, but now (6 months later) after only occasional wear (maybe about once a week, give or take) they seem to have conformed to fit my feet very comfortably. The color is great, I really like the ombre effect of the grey; light in the front with a gradient to a darker grey toward the heel. The turquoise laces are a great contrast.I don't use these for actual running or jogging, this is more of an errand or travel shoe for me with the occasional long walk or easy outdoor hike. After a few months, they're barely showing any signs of wear at all. I see these lasting me a long time.

Don’t Last
I searched high and low for a quality shoe that would satisfy my needs for my high intensity Zumba class. I teach 6-8 classes per week and I just knew these shoes were too good to be true. The shoe was perfect, in the beginning. I received the shoes on January 19th and could wear them instantly. I didn’t need to “break them in.” They fit my plantar fasciitis insoles perfectly and the toe box is very comfortable. It’s a lightweight shoe that’s perfect for my classes. I love that I can do all of the traditional Latin rhythms and not feel any pain or pulling in my shins, knees, or VERY tender heel (due to PF). The soreness of PF doesn’t go away but I can teach two classes back to back and I can walk just fine once I’ve taken the shoes off. Anyone who’s struggled to stay active while dealing with PF knows that this is a MIRACLE! They don’t weight my feet done when we jump, do squats, lunges— anything. The reason why I am giving 2 stars is because these shoes are starting to tear near the last toe. I would try my hardest to make these shoes last longer but my toe keeps trying to slide through the hole and I don’t want to risk injury. SO, if you want a perfect shoe lasts for a month, this is the shoe for you. I’m very dissapointed because this shoe was a rockstar while it lasted.

These shoes are worth every cent-no aching feet! I almost ordered 2 pairs but I wanted to be sure about these. I wear an 8/1-9. I bought these in size 9. These shoes took some getting used to but-in a good way. There was an unfamiliar but very, very nice added support to my foot arch area that I haven't been used to. I've waited to post my review until I've put them through the test of time. My feet are not sore after wearing these, walking or at work all day. The next time I will buy 2 pairs without hesitation. These were 1/2 the price I've spent on another reputable brand elsewhere. And, I love the color of these. Nothing loud, just practical, very comfortable, & beautiful! One more note, I used to look for shoes by the depth of the bottom of the shoe. They may look "thin" but they sure don't feel that way once you wear them.

Lightweight narrow shoe
These have nice arch support (especially if you have high arches) and are very lightweight. I use them for Zumba and they are great. The only thing you have to watch for is that these shoes are narrow. If you have wide feet these will not work for you. I don't have narrow feet and these sort of squeeze my feet in the middle a bit. It doesn't cause me pain it just feels weird so I can ignore it, but it might be an issue for other people.

Buy a half size bigger and you'll be fine.
They do fit a little snug/narrow but always remember to buy athletic shoes a half size up. This is especially important for this brand since they do tend to run a tad bit small. Since thisis my 3rd pair of Ryka shoes, I was expecting this so my 9.5's fit perfectly. I don't think this particular style or model offers a lot of cushioning, but they're decent enough for cross-trainers. I would not try to go running with these. Only good for some indoor workouts, dance cardio, or Zumba.

Pleased with this purchase
I purchased these because the reviews said it was wider in the toe box, and I have been very pleased with the fit. I often have a problem with athletic shoes rubbing by my big toe, but wearing these to walk/workout I haven't had any problems at all. They fit well in the heel, I love the color and the lightweight quality of the shoe. I do like a good bit of cushion in my shoe, and these didn't disappoint, but I did add a very light insole just to give a bit more cushion for my workout. Overall, I'm extremely pleased, and I may order another color!

Cute and fits perfectly!
First of all, I JUST received these, and have only been wearing them around the house to break them in a bit. That being said, I LOVE how they fit and feel. Great support and cushion. I can't say yet how that may change after mile 2 or so, but I'm optimistic. On top of the utilitarian aspect, they are super cute. Just maybe a little darker than they look in the pic. Highly recommended!Edit: 1 month later, and 50+ miles walked, these shoes are very supportive and comfortable. Have noticed less hip and back fatigue after long walks.

Sizing seems to have change
I never used to have a problem with Ryka, but now I seem to have difficulty finding the right size. I'm keeping these, but they're not as comfortable as they should be. They are a little too large, but I feel a size down would be too small and hit against my toes. These seem to have extra material above my toes which is stiff and buckles when I bend my foot. This same thing has happened with other styles of Ryka I've tried. It may be time for me to switch to a different brand.

Always consistent
I have been wearing Ryka shoes for Zumba classes for years - they are alway consistent with the fit. Love them.

Large heel
I so wanted to like these shoes. They fit so well except in the heel area. The shoe slipped in the heel area each time I stepped. A smaller size wouldn't have worked as the shoe fit well everywhere else.
