Solid and Concise
Concise information on IT infrastructure. Having been selling in the field for 8 years I was looking for a front to back description of what a modern IT environment should look like and I found it!

It’s like reading a dictionary or someone’s college paper lol. I bought this for something to read at my desk (work station) because I am going into IT classes and it just puts me to sleep.

This book might be good but it is most definitely NOT for the "very beginner." It is full of techno speak and very difficult for the ACTUAL very beginner to understand. If you're just beginning in IT learning, do NOT buy this book.

Poor effort, avoid
No glossary, no index, no page numbering, no illustrations. Doesn't even explain all the acronyms used. Complete waste of money. I'm guessing it was written by ChatGPT, avoid, there are much better entry level texts.

Disappointing
It's the kind of book you imagine you would get if you asked ChatGBT to write a book on the subject. All seemingly correct information but entirely devoid of personality, anecdote or anything that would suggest it was written by a person. A cheap as chips "printed by Amazon" production. Covers the basic terms adequately with robotic explanations but no attempt to appeal to someone new to the subject.
