7/15 - Update: It turns out a "stopper" in one of the legs was broken. Amazon sent me a replacement and all is good. The replacement is much easier to work. Back to 5 stars.I ordered two of these cots for my teenagers for a recent camping trip. They were very comfortable, folded down small and fit into their carrying bags nicely, and had a locking mechanism on the legs. I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because one of the cots was really hard to open every time we set it up -- it took three of us to open it and keep the legs from folding under. My kids heard lots of language. The other gave us no trouble at all. We had some mud on one of the cots after a particularly rainy day camping and it washed off beautifully - I just leaned it against a table, wet it with the hose and scrubbed with some dish soap, then rinsed off. Dry within an hour.

Quality for the money easy set up and easy to store

Portal camping cot is a fairly good cot. It doesn't wobble or tip when getting on and off. The height makes it easier to get on and off too. Surprisingly comfortable, have not slept on it but have laid on it. Setup is simple to do. Didn't want a cot that is complicated to set up. Take down to me is not as easy as the setup. Need to make sure the canvas doesn't get caught on screw nuts and folds between the legs. One grip is the buckle strap is confusing to wrap around when it is folded up. I use an adjustable strap and wrap around the middle for storage.

I had an easy time setting up. The cot is stable and squeak free which many aren't (that's why I replaced the old one). Comfort feels good after multiple trips, I do continue to use an inflatable air pad on top for great comfort even when side sleeping.

Bought this to use as a portable changing table for field trips. I had several coworkers lie on it and bounce around to make sure it wasn't going to collapse with a kid on it. It's very sturdy.

This was very easy to setup and put away, and is firm and stable. It folds up to a nice compact size and was easy to get out of, however, it was a little heavier than I expected.

My son has used this cot for almost three weeks of camping this summer, and he absolutely loves it. The setup and breakdown are spectacularly simple, and it holds up well once set up. I will say that it is too small for me (I’m over 6’ and have a few more pounds than I did in high school), but for an average sized person, this will probably be pretty comfy. I genuinely can’t over-emphasize how easy to set up this cot is vs. the army style x-leg cots with end braces. I have one of the wide versions of the army cots, and I love the size & comfort, but this cot is MUCH easier to carry, set up, and store than my big cot. If it meets your size needs, I would highly recommend this cot.

I once tried to used it at the beach abd it was so comfort to sleep on.I love its sturdiness...I love the whole of it.

As a Grandma this is a perfect extra cot . Realize it is only 25”” wide .perfect if you don’t move in the night or side sleepers. Easy to ensemble . Long enough if your not p a little past the 6 foot mark .Had to get 3” memory foam and .protector sheet I treat it like a bed . I am going to buy another 3” memory foam to put on top of that too .. if you are used to flat camping it may be great or a air mattress too on it . Or even sleeping bag. But the off the ground idea extra bed is a excellent idea. Great for guest or grandchildren . Just hard as rock . In bedroom it looks like a single bed now all dressed up but now going 6” memory foam . Need more comfort .But getting extra cot was a great idea ! Good Price . Especially after this covid isolation .. i appreciate distant on the phone visits .. I will so appreciate my grandchildren when I can see and hug them again !!. once the world gets a normal go ahead . I realize quality time with loved onesIs so priceless and beyond words!Regards
