Don't waste your money
This item will not work. It is fastened by velcro and any bird can pull it off in seconds.

Not for chickens
We bought this hoping to help a young chicken that was soft me leaving. It didn’t work she just ripped it right off.

Waste of money
Did not work at all complete waste of money. My african grey just laid down and refused to eat or drink.

Worked very well when our African Grey pulled a few neck feathers out.
This helped my African Grey as some of his neck feathers grew back. We were out of town for an extended stay and sitter said he was pulling out feathers. I purchased this and sent to house for her right about the time we came back. Very durable as KC is very good about tearing things up. I know he didn't enjoy the collar but now that it's off he is most handsome again.

Garbage buy the more sturdy plastic
This didn't hold up for 30min on my Congo African Grey female, she chewed out of it in 30min! I would give 0 or nagative stars if I could. Returning for refund

Poorly made, could have gone to the dollar store and bought the felt and did it myself. Not worth the money

Useless
My grey pulled it off within seconds. So not gonna help with stop plucking at all.

Soft and fits well but too short and Velcro gets destroyed
Not bad - acts more of a distraction as my African parrot can still pick at her self whilst wearing it and has managed to destroy one of the Velcro tabs in a week. Would work better If the length of the ruff ends were longer However it is soft and it does not impede eating or climbing like hard cones do and is tolerated quite well by the parrot. I used in conjunction with the blue and grey soft poncho collar and that works quite well u til the Velcro gets destroyed!

Not good for Greys
Not a very good product for African greys. My grey was able to bite it off and ruin the velcro
