Love the tone and the weight seems to help apply ...
Read the previous reviews and ordered the large due to concern over sizing. The reviews were correct and the large was about right for my ring finger. Love the tone and the weight seems to help apply the slide to the strings more effectively than my small brass pinky slide. I'm a beginner so fretting without sounding like I'm rattling a bunch of trash can lids together is a challenge on the acoustic and the resonator. This slide works well with both. I liked it enough that I purchased the medium to use as a pinky slide. That one also fits and works well. It is always a risk to buy a slide on line without the benefit of holding it and checking the size. This was a good choice at a reasonable price for quality sound. I am now using these slides almost exclusively while the brass and glass collect dust. Be aware that the size is a bit small for the average male hand and hammer on.

worth the money
Ive had a couple different slides before this one. (brass glass). and I really prefer the sound of ceramic. this is actually my second time buying this product I haven't had an electric guitar for almost ten years. I just ordered one so I want the slide again so much fun.

Runs Small. Approximate ring sizes below...
Approximate ring size 8 for the Medium slide and 9.5 for the large.

Versatile all-round slide.
This (Medium) is a snug fit for my pinkie, which measure size-7 at widest part (2nd joint). Slides on easily, resists a wee bit coming off. Works well on my electric (light strings) and acoustic (heavier strings). Wide enough to cover the entire neck. A great compromise between metal and glass.

Seems finnicky, runs small
If you take away one thing from this review it is: try slides in-store before buying. I am an average 5'11 human male with normal hands and the medium is too small for me (should have trusted the other reviews!). I make it work by imitating what Paul Gilbert does and never letting the slide go below my first knuckle on my middle finger and bending my fingers (maybe that's what they were going for?). Even then it's snug. If you want a slide that will go over your entire finger, buy a large or this is not it. This thing is finnicky compared to glass slides. I am not a slide player but needed to write a slide part for a song. I was struggling with this, then tried a glass slide and it was immediately noticeably easier to use. Not sure if my technique is terrible (it probably is) or what, but glass slides are far easier to use for me. I believe the reason is that this is slightly out of true (look at the edge where it comes in contact with the guitar; it's not perfectly flat). Overall, this is clearly working for a lot of people. I don't think it's entirely terrible, but glass is what I'm after. To try to over-simplify the difference in tone in terms of what I'm hearing: this produces a "raspier" tone and glass is "smoother" (trying to describe tone using words is HARD btw). Glass is also far easier to play for me. Give them both a try and be your own judge. If you can, try before you buy in a brick and mortar store.

Great tone great weight and best of all non slip interior
This is a great slide. I love the tone of this slide. Its a little darker than a glass slide. The best part of the slide is that the interior is a textured porcelain finish which creates a non slip feeling on the finger. Sweat is not actually absorbed into the porcelain but it does build up like it does when using a glass slide either.

Size is the issue, very cool slide!
okay, here's the deal. this is very nice and too snug for my 3rd (ring) finger and too loose for my 4th (pinky) finger. I really was happy with look, sound, weight (substantial!), just the size was the issue. sending it back. have ordered the Dunlop 218 Short in a medium hoping it will be perfect for use on my 4th finger. Black/Glass instead of this cool Blue/Ceramic unit.

Sehr zufrieden

Ben non, "made in USA". Et le son ? M'ouais.

Heavy - but worth it.
Great sounding. Heavy but worth it terms of sound quality. Cool colour too. Would highly recommend.
