Excellent case, great protection, high quality and expensive looking
Very nice leather case for my iPad, replaces one almost identical but this one has a better case it fits in. The inside case was a one piece mold where ny iPad slid in easily snapping in place. The last case was hard plastic inside and my iPad slipped and fell about 2 feet. Luckily it didn’t damage but the corner broke a piece off of the plastic. And it was sly ways difficult to get out of the case because it didn’t give at all. Not so with case, it’s flexible around the edge and easy to place my pad in, but protective covering my pad completely. The around around the is raised also protecting it. And a couple times it dropped from my hand closed when sitting and no breaking in the case or damage to the pad. I also like this one has a stylus/pen holder, the magnet closure is strong and the lather inside is smooth and rich looking brown outside. For the length of time I’ve had it, it still looks new and no worn places. I’m extremely pleased with it and would definitely purchase it again if needed and highly recommend it.

I think calling it leather is misleading, but it's a great case for the price
Don't you love how, when you replace a tablet, you end up spending a bunch of money on cases, screen protectors, and all the other "must haves" to keep your new tablet bright, shiny, and in one piece? I go hard core with my phone cases and usually buy Otterbox cases, but my tablet leads a much more sedate life than my phone. Besides, I'm not willing to spend 1/3 the price of a tablet that will be obsolete in a couple years on a case that very likely can't be used on the next tablet purchase. I discovered with my first iPad years ago that a perfectly good case can be had for under $20. This one is no exception. Pros: 1. There's an "handle" on the inside on the case. It's probably for keeping a grip on things while walking around, but I find I save myself a lot of wrist and thumb joint fatigue when reading by slipping my hand through this and resting the tablet flat against my palm. No slippage, and no sore joints. Having this handle has become the deciding factor for me with tablet cases: I won't buy one that doesn't have it. 2. Snug fit. It's not hard to get the tablet in the case, but it's not coming out easily either. Sure, if you fling it down a flight of stairs or out a car window, it's probably going to pop out, but why would you do that? Bonus: There's a slot for the e-pen, so you can stop buying those silly stick-on pen loops. Cutouts allow camera, speakers, and mic, etc. to function properly, but the case is thick enough to protect the camera, too. 3. Strong magnet closure. Sometimes these inexpensive cases don't properly line up so that the magnet can put the tablet to sleep when closing. Small inconvenience, IMIO, so I've lived with it in the past. This one, however, works perfectly. And the magnet is strong enough to keep the case closed. There is also an elastic strap if you don't trust the magnet. 4. Nice color. It's what I would call a "saddle brown" color, a nice honeyed medium brown that wouldn't look out of place in a business meeting. And if you don't look at it too closely, it does look like leather. No one will mistake it for Louis Vuitton, but who cares? 5. Obviously, price. I've had cases that cost more and performed worse. For $14 and some change, it's a deal. Cons: 1. It is heavy. It does add quite a bit to the weight of the tablet. It's hard to have something be protective AND lightweight AND look business-like. I'm fine with the weight, but I know some people don't like it. 2. I wish the grooves for putting the tablet in the standing position were a tad deeper or maybe covered in something that made them more grippy.

Quality Case. Great Price. Great Purchase!
Overall, the case is functional, the leather has a nice feel to it, and the case looks extremely sharp/sleek - especially for the price point! The handle is a very nice addition, as I use my iPad for drawing/graphics with a stylus and it allows me to confidently hold the iPad in hand as I draw, or helps me keep peace of mind for those times I get carelessly distracted :) . Note: It helps to use the elastic strap around the flap with the handle to keep the case from twisting in your hand and for a more secure fit. For those carelessly distracted fumbles and/or accidental drops.. I love the fact that there is a bumper case within the leather casing to help protect the overly expensive iPad from our lovely little mishaps of life (though I *knock on wood* have not encountered nor hope to encounter this to truly test that features durability). The stylus holder within the bumper case is a very nice addition as well, which also has the ability to hold the stylus charging adapter if for whatever reason you needed to charge your Apple Pencil with a wall charger instead of the iPad. Overall, the iPad seems securely in place and gives a wholesome feel in hand. As for some of the negative reviews I read before purchasing - The camera hole does not line up. - The images explicitly say that this case is made for the newest 10.2 iPad, so the reviews that say it does not fit - you did not read the product description properly; it is a perfect fit for the model it is described to fit. The iPad will not stay up and slides out of the rivets. - Full disclosure: I do not use this feature often so I can not speak best to this, but when I have set my iPad up to watch something I have not encountered any issues with it falling/sliding and it seems secure; even if I am to try to slightly jostle the iPad it still seems to hold firmly within the rivet. Note: this may change over the lifetime of the case due to wearing down the edge, but I cannot assess that at this time. All in all, I believe you definitely get the bang for your buck with this clean and functional case, and I would highly recommend purchasing this case for your 10.2-inch Pad. I hope you found my review helpful!

Ditto iPad leather cover
Very durable leather component, sleek and made every well. Especially like the outside pocket for storage and the elastic strap for closure of your iPad. Would highly recommend this to others interested in a new iPad cover.

FANTASTIC. I spoke too soon.
This case is amazing. So love it. I was expecting one like the one I already had which is already worn out that you have to slide in and the sides are framed in the vinyl and is very difficult to get to the buttons and the vinyl is always in the way. Not this one. This one is incredible. It slips in a case just like your telephone. I’m so glad I bought it it is so cool there is nothing in the way of your virtual keyboard or any buttons. So worth the money. Going to buy another one for my husband I would like to give an update. I change my mind about getting my husband one of these. I have since changed my mind about them. I really like the concept but the plastic frame that you put your iPad in actually adds weight. And that would be all right if on the part where you stand the iPad had sewn on strips of vinyl rather than indentations. The iPad and the stand are always slipping out of the indentations because of the weight. It gets rather annoying. And the cover over the on off button makes it hard to use the button. The volume buttons are not too bad so I am going to cut out a section with a Stanley knife so I can get to the on Off button. I hope I don’t ruin it. Makes me wish I had the different style that I had before. The one where it slips into the case. It was a lot less heavy. Update. Well I got tired of it constantly falling down so I decided to add some Velcro strips over the indentations so the bottom of the case would actually have something to guard it from slipping. So far so good. But the problem is when you close the case the iPad now is not shutting off because the top is not tight against the plastic iPad case so I have to use the button on the iPad to shut it off which I had to take a Stanley knife and some scissors and cut out the plastic over the off button because I just couldn’t push it hard enough. It was a pain in the butt. So now my choice is that I will have to shut this off instead of being able to just close it however at least now it will stand up. I will change my star rating and I suggest you move on. Who knows it might be OK for some but I started out liking it and then encountered the issues. But I won’t be returning it simply because I live 30 miles from the nearest UPS drop off. I may have a drop off Amazon box around here somewhere but regardless it’s a pain in the butt so I will use it as is and just use the on off button. UPDATE. Ended up buying the other type. Spending another $20 which makes my investment 40 bucks because this one just sucks. Continues to fall down. So I guess I will just pitch this one. I will not waste my money if I were you. I wasted mine don’t waste yours
