These are kef speakers
I own a set of kef R11 non meta and I'm writing this review because I saw a one star review without an explanation... My non meta speakers exceed my expectations for a speaker and the kef corporation rolled out the red carpet to deliver them. True to kef sound my speakers are very neutral they lend themselves well to any type of music without prejudice classical is their forte but rock rap and cinema the exceed any speaker on the market. Although I don't own the R7 meta I can speak as an owner of the outgoing R11 non meta and these speakers don't disappoint. I also own a set of q500 speakers from kef. Anything by the kef brand will impress. And I use emotiva amplifiers to drive my speakers (there are higher end amps to run these speakers) I'm confident you will enjoy these speakers over anything you'll find in any store. YouTube reviews for kef products before making any decisions.

Great speakers
I have owned many speaker brands over the years, Polk, PMC, Definitive Technology..... These R7 metas are the best I have ever heard (in their price class). Great detail, imaging....I'm hearing things on familiar tracks I never heard before. (I'm also using the R6 center for home theater)
