Well made and designed burner. Provides more intense heat than my indoor 'power boil' identically rated BTU burner. Easy to turn on and control temperature from full on to low. The reversing grate so you can safely use with fry pan or wok (curved bottom pots) is a real plus.

This single burner is well made and does everything it should. It looks as though it will last for years, and much like all the rest of the 'Lion' products, is built to professional use standards. It has a stainless steel cover, which is not shown, and is a great way to cook outdoors during the summer which helps from heating up the house.

We've had this for several months now and it is AWESOME! It was an afterthought in our outdoor kitchen. This meant we had to cut out the concrete counter top. The specs were accurate therefore we could plan accordingly. This baby fires up so powerfully that a lot of the time I'll carry out my pan instead of using my gas cook top in our kitchen! Well worth the money!

Great high quality product! Looks and works great! My only criticism was the product documentation. BTU's were not listed but after a call to Lion they informed me it was 18,000BTU's. In addition I had to call them to find out if a gas regulator was required. It was not. Lion support was great where the directions for connection and specifications were lacking.

Purchased this grill top and have the hole cut in the concrete counter top. Specs were terrific, but there’s either a major design flaw with knob, or the wrong knob was installed in the unit to begin with. The OFF position (red line is facing the grate where you can’t see it. Seems like a front mounted grill knob was inadvertently installed on this top burner style unit. Can we get the proper knob that’s in line and suitable to the quality of Lion products? Otherwise satisfied with the product. Like I said, hole in concrete counter is already cut and we need this knob situation rectified. Please contact me and I will gladly modify this review. There was not any manufacturer customer service information provided with the grill. Only installation instructions.Thanks in advance for your assistance.

First one was apparently defective, but Amazon replaced it immediately. New one is perfect and works great. Very happy with this and all the Lion products we own (grill, cabinets, refrigerator). This is a very hot side burner. The only bad thing about it is the low setting isn't very low. I really have to stand over whatever i am cooking in a skillet if i don't want it to burn. On the flip side, getting a bot of water to boil is fast.

Big burner! great quality. Cast Iron burner trivet that is reversable for a wok.

I installed this burner in an outside BBQ center. It is durable and reliable. Would highly recommend it
