I have 2 microphone stands. Each has a different thread size for mounting the adapter. The newer one's thread was too small for this product but the older one fits perfectly. I also needed a packing washer under my Flip video recorder to make it fully stable on the camera adapter.

I bought one of these the other day as it is just what I needed to mount webcams to microphone stands. Having received it and tried it out, I decided to purchase another one (re-rorder) a few days later. There was a delay in getting it which may mean it was from more recent stock. Unfortunately it is unusable because the internal thread has been omitted (see photo comparing the two). It would fit on a smaller diameter rod since it has a locking grub screw, but obviously it doesn't fit over the 5/8" male thread. So it's going back. I suspect there's a whole batch of these....very irritating.

Neat little cam mount, ideal for GoPro or similar, wouldn't use it for DSLR because I wouldnt use a mic stand for anything that size. Looks well made and clamps firmly in place.

Bought to modify a microphone stand for use with a mic / sound recorder. Good quality and did what I hoped. Would recommend.

Amazing! Very secure and I’ve used all of the adapters and not been caught out when mounting my camera on mic stands when I rock up for gigs. Simple but brilliant.
