The Lord of the Rings Instrumental Solos for Flute (with CD) (The Lord of the Rings; the Motion Picture Trilogy)

A really good idea to add an app to accompany any soloist learning to play this music. I bought it for my son who is a beginner entering a more intermediate level of skill. He loves that he can play along with the recording. It inspires him to learn more all the time, hear where he's playing correctly and when he's struggling with certain areas. Would definitely recommend.

This book has provided me with hours of playing fun, the Lord of the Rings music is beautiful and the accompanying CD is very helpful for timing practice. It probably is a little too hard for grade 2, but I found it was a great way to move up from beginners level to intermediate level so it doesn't matter really. Many Meetings, In Dreams, King of the Golden Hall, Forth Eorlingas and Evenstar are my faves!

Lovely music for flute. Good to have tunes that everyone likes and recognises. Haven’t heard the cd yet.

A bit difficult for me at the moment, but hope to be able to play all the pieces in time. The CD in itself is great for listening to the soundtracks, I would think it's a must for any LOTR fan also learning the flute.

Lord of the Rings soundtrack is one of the best. Love listening to my daughter play tracks from this. It comes with a CD that has a full version of each track and a separate track just for the flute.

This is good however I wouldn't call it easy as it has some higer passages which go fairly fast but otherwise it is fine.

My daughter (grade 2-3) loves playing this. It is just at the right level to stretch her a bit but at the same time isn't too difficult to cause her to give up. Prompt delivery too.

Watched all the films and just had to buy a flute to play these songs - So much easier to learn with this.
