Does the holding bottom mount fit inside the poll or around the outside?

The bottom mount fit around the outside. It makes it easy to mount a flag or we fit ours to fit a weather station. I am a female and I can mount or dismount anything you mount with the flagpole buddy.

Can I purchase your Buddy Mount with a 1.5 inch diameter ladder?

I measured the ID bottom hole, it was 2.130 to 2.135 inches

Can I mount this outside of my house? Or does it not come with that equipment?

It will not have the materials/equipment included to mount the product on a plain vertical surface. A qualified technician could mount the product with screws or lag bolts to a flat vertical surface such as the side of a motorhome.

Is the cup that the bottom of the pole sits in solid or it it open to run wires for a lighted whip?

What’s the exact measurement of the cup? I know it says 1.5 but is that exact? I have a pole 1.575 not sure if it has some wiggle room to fit. TIA
