Good
It's good for 75 gal tank. I like to touch off to feeding coral. I don't need to unplug the power cord.

Not as powerful as should be
This is an OK wave maker. It is a magnet stick on, so that is an awesome feature. It has different wave lengths that you can set for more powerful currents has an Auto off at dark button. It seems like it is made of good quality but not enough power for what I needed

Hygger quality thru and thru
This is the normal cross flow pump you've come to know for several years now. the exception is it is made by Hygger so it is packed with the quality and innovation that makes the name Hygger. I have had and have many hygger products from their smaller aquarium filters to heaters to controllable powerheads and have never had an issue with one and the quality is top notch. This one is no different. From the compact controller that has little photos of the settings to the virtually silent pump. unfortunately this one was too strong even on its lowest setting for my 90 gallon planted tank only because I have floating plants i did not want spread everywhere and into my overflow. So i decided to test it in my outdoor pond where I already have an outdoor enclosure. It is fantastic. the fish were swimming in it as if going up a stream and when it slowed one group of fish swam out and another swam in. I was able to crank it up but since i never run my pumps full speed, i set it to 90% and it was pushing water about 6ft across. plenty for what i need as there is already a waterfall bringing water in at about 6000 gph. It's hard to tell but the ripples are from the flow.

Lot of power, bargain price
I've wanted to add a wavemaker to one of my tanks for years, but found the prices for most products a bit too rich. This one comes in at a fraction of those prices and offers a lot of power for my tank. I've noticed since using it that my substrate is cleaner and the flow is more evenly spread about the tank. Instead of using multiple powerheads on different sides to create strong current, this one device can get the job done. It's also relatively compact, so it looks better aesthetically. The controller is simple to use and understand. Getting it up and running took 5 minutes. Steady waves, random waves - you can configure it pretty easily to fit the needs of your tank. It's pretty quiet, although not totally silent. I've been running it on random and from about 4 feet away can hear a slight pulse when it engages. When running a more constant flow, the noise blends in with the ambient sounds of the room and isn't noticeable.
