The media could not be loaded. The instruction booklet isn’t brilliant for letting you know there are in fact 3 support legs. The pouch with “ANKER” embroidered on it is also a sturdy support when you pull it out! See my photos. You can make this out in the booklet about using the product. When I tested the product in the evening sun I saw 55W of input power to my Anker power station 535 model. Today it’s cloudy and my iPad is charging but no power input showing on the power station, I’m not surprised though. The product looks and feels well made. I like the simple device for lining up with the sun, blue dot shadow into the red circle, neat and simple.

Great solar panel! Charging early morning like 9am and took solar energy very efficiently 58w constant. Easy to carry and not crazy heavy, fits standing in the boot of a car nicely against the back seats so saves space. I am using it to charge power station c300 which last me for a whole weekend out. No usb to connect phones directly which it's a down but I ordered a usb adaptor to have an extra . Came well packed. Would I recommend it? YES if you love gadget and want to have peace of mind while on the road or camping.

Seems good product but a little heavier than expected and doesn’t fold completely flat , otherwise good solid kit but not as compact for backpacking as some others .

“Free” energy. Use this while out on long hikes. But also use back home to charge phone, tablet etc. saves using the household electric. Strong, robust and as advertised waterproof. Manages to charge, although slowly even on a cloudy day.

Highly recommend this bit of kit for anyone going camping or hiking somewhere without access to power. I used this whilst camping in the Canterbury area, it charged my powerbank without any issues. It can take a little while to get used to it and get it into optimal position, but a good indicator is looking at the colour of the panels, when it is working its best, the panels will look more blue.Very lightweight and portable, fit nicely into bike panniers for easy transportation.

Multiple issues, I bought this before I knew the Jackery solarsaga 100w would work with the Anker 521.1) Anker has 2 legs on outside panels nothing for middle 2 so they just collapse and fold in on themselves, now it is possible to balance it but its fiddly and not very stable at all takes 3x as long as the Jackery to set up. (Edit: there is actually a third leg it's under the cable pocket this does help with the stability however its still very unwieldy to set up on your own compared to two panel options from the competition)2) The pocket for the connections is made of mesh, now I know neither this nor the Jackery is waterproof but mesh? Come on any slight quick shower of rain is 100% getting in. The Jackery is a zip up picket with a plastic liner so I fully expect if it got left out in a bit of rain would have a much better chance of surviving which for something that is used outside there is a chance of this happening.Anker normally makes high quality kit and their powerstations are much better than Jackery but this panel is such a let down within 5 minutes of it being out the box trying to set up I knew this was going back. Who ever designed this needs to actually go outside and try it for themselves.

So far I got it to charge my cycle USB mini LED Light with in a dusky day up ton2 :30 p.m.

If you have patience and enough sunlight then it will charge a power bank. As ever the stated output of 30 Watts isn't the actual output you'll see in the device. USB a and c is a useful output.
