Sealey Tp6804 Multi-Purpose Mini Pump 1Ltr

I bought this to replace the oil in my differentials and transfer box, as it requires a pump to top each of them up due to the position of the fill holes on them. This pump unit was ideal for it and worked perfectly on all 3 occasions. The bottle holds about 1 litre, which is what each of the units holds roughly. Each stroke of the pump only pumps a small amount of oil, so it does take a while to pump 1 litre, especially when lying under the car with the bottle alongside me, but it's not a problem really. It's now safely stored away ready for the next time. I'd recommend to anyone, it's served me well without any issues and is a sturdy bottle.

Used this to fill up the oil on my Audi automatic gearbox. The tube and "hook" fitting was the correct size for this job. The pump fit on top of the 1L oil bottles so there was no need to empty the oil into the pump's bottle which saved time. It does take a while to pump the fluid in (box takes 7 litres!) but I dont think its any worse than other hand pumps. The included tube is quite short so might not be useful for other jobs, I only needed to go from the floor to the underneath of the car on axle stands.

Works well can need wuite a lot of room under a car to keep upright and pump it. But was fine under my Iveco size van. I changed gearbox and diff oils with it. Your going to get bored pumping oil in larger quantities, about 30 pumps to empty the bottle. The pvc pipe is quite stiff as its cheap, this spoils it have changed it to a flexible silicon pipe so the bottle doesnt tip over each time you move the pipe. The length is about right though. I sent first one back, no problem with amazon exchange the plastic pipe connector to the bottle had snapped off, so take care with that bit. Other than thst its handy thing for a diy home mechanic

I bought this as I had to refil the transfer box of my Land Rover Discovery with EP90 Oil..and the nice designers at the company clearly had a bad day when considering how to change the oil..but hey ho. This arrived in about 36hrs, allowed me to fill the transfer box case with 2.3 litres of oil in about 10 minutes. If you have oil, or any liquid, to put into an awkward place, I highly recommend one of these Sealey units - this is excellent value for money, very well built and does exactly what they claim it does - very refreshing in this day and age.

Used for my Subaru Impreza rear diff oil changed was great as it only needs 1L of oil, let my friend use it for his Land Rover gearbox oil change which was around 9L, hundreds and hundreds of hand pumps later it broke so not the most durable or long lasting product. So depends what you're using it for may get you through many small diff services or may die after one big gearbox service

This allows easy filling of gearboxes without spillage. Measurement marks on the jug is useful. Stops any wastage as you can pump the exact amount for the gearbox without overflow and wastage.

Absolute Rubish, bought it do an oil change on my Car. Took it out of the box and it basically just fell apart. Pay a bit more and get one from a better brand ..
