If a comb can be beautiful, this is. Very pretty wood grain pattern. Sturdy wide toothed comb. Feel nice along the scalp due to the rounded edges. Works well on thick, straight hair.

I love using this comb on my wet hair and to comb my conditioner treatment in. It is so gentle but doesn’t lose the strength to brush. Great detangler on wet hair and all around wonderful quality and design.

This comb is exactly what it promises to be - a smooth, wide-toothed comb.After using it, I find that I prefer a comb with narrower gaps between its teeth. It's great as the comb to use immediately after a shampooing to get the major snarls & tangles out of my hair. But, after that I want a finer toothed comb to really feel as though I've gotten every strand of hair combed. With this comb, I feel I've skipped some sections of hair & left some bits unattended.It's good for what it is & I'll use it, but I'll be using my other combs as pictured in the photo accompanying this review on a more day-to-day basis. Mostly I took the picture of the assorted combs so that you might be more able to compare combs you have on hand with this one. After all, at $30, this comb is a genuine investment instead of a spur of the moment purchase.It all comes down to personal preference - ease of use & hair type/length. For me, the $3 'disposable' bamboo comb pictured at the top left (also available on Amazon) is the comb I grab most often. The Nehzgnauh wide tooth comb at ten times the price, for me, is just not as versatile.The brocade pouch that comes with this comb is a nice touch. Not sure how long I'll tolerate the added fussiness it imparts to simply combing my hair though.

I love that its small and easy to carry around , doesn't pull at my hair either it combs thru smooth.

This is exactly what I needed. The weight is good in my hand, doesn't smell a fake wood. It is a little thick for my liking but it is understandable because it's actually wood. Definitely easy to get the tangles out of my hair, and I have curly hair.
