The media could not be loaded.  This thing is pretty cool. Each time you pull it you must repress the compression relief or it will rip out of your hand. Stick the throttle at half and pull and it fires right up. I plan to run it on alternative fuels (biodiesel, motor oil mix etc...) but for break-in period I'm using normal diesel and some 10w40 engine oil.My only gripe is that It is very important to press the compression relief before pulling the start cord. I have a bruise on my arm from pulling without and it yanked the motor off and hit me in the arm. This is 100% my fault though and the motor can not be faulted. Mount this engine before you start it.I'll post updates periodically.

Was happy with first engine. BUT NOT happy with second engine!!!!!!!They did change the air filter housing from last engine I have received from them. Much better.Did same thing as put oil in it and prime fuel system like other engine I received from them. Started on second pull. Ran fine for about 3 minutes then Started to run bad. White blue smoke from exhaust. Missing and had it run away on me 2 times where I had to pull decompression lever to shut engine down. Maybe a broken Oil ring on Piston from what I can figure why it is running like it is and smoking white blue smoke and running away. Anyway from what I understand is I have to pay for return witch I'm NOT bothering to do because it's not worth it because it will be expensive... I just won't buy from this company no more and this review will show people what they have to deal with if thay have to return there product.

The media could not be loaded.  Just adding to what's already been said. It is possible to start it up on the ground, but this engine will shake and walk around. The throttle needs to be at half or more. It does not start easily at low throttle. Note that the shaft is 20mm with 5mm key. I plan on using a 3/4" bore pulley bored out to 20mm (0.787"). The rotation direction is counter-clockwise (as viewed from the shaft side). The sound is about on par with a lawnmower engine. Does not have the guttural sound of larger diesel engines. Starting it takes some getting used to. Pull the cord until you feel the start of a compression stroke. Now depress the orange lever on the valve cover. Now pull the cord as fast as you can. As long as there is fuel in the line to the injector, it will start. First time may require loosening the flare nut at the injector, holding down the depressurization lever, and turning the engine over 10 times or so, to prime that line. When you see fuel dribble, tighten the flare nut. Don't forget to add oil! These engines will burn "black" diesel.I love these engines. Have a 4th one on order. Hope this helps!Edit: Added a video of this engine driving a VEVOR air compressor pump. Note the aluminum 5-step pulley. It has a 20mm bore already. The engine shaft is threaded M8. Using a 60" A-section (4L600) belt and mocked up the whole affair on a length of 2x10 :)

Poor packing. Damage to the engine. Manual has been translated from Chinese very poorly. No answers on how to get parts or how to get warranty service. No way to contact seller other than messaging through Amazon. I had to repair the damage from shipping and had a tough time getting the engine to start because of the bad translation in the manual. The engine seems ok once I got through the hurdles. Don't recommend it!
