This is an excellent replacement for the headphones that come with the PSVR2, offering adequate sound quality (perhaps not the best, but in my opinion, superior to the included headphones). They are easy to install, although the instructions aren't entirely precise, especially regarding plugging the audio jack into its slot, which needs to align with a hole in a small mounting plate (at first, it wouldn't go all the way in, but once I figured out the alignment, it went in perfectly). The only drawback I've found is that it uses a simple spring mechanism to position them on the ears, but when you need to use it, this spring causes it to bend inwards, making it difficult to adjust. I have to use my hands to hold the headset apart while putting on the PSVR2, but once I do, the headphones rest gently on my ears without pressure and are very comfortable. They make the PSVR2 a unified video and audio unit and greatly enhance the immersion.

I'm going to give some background in my experiences with Globular Cluster to frame my review of this product and provide some context, so if you just want to hear my thoughts on these headphones skip the next paragraph! I absolutely love my PSVR2, but the out of the box experience is a little lacking in several key areas. I found the stock rubber padding and lack of support to be really uncomfortable and it made keeping my eyes in the sweet spot of the fresnel lenses a challenge. People on reddit recommended the Globular Cluster comfort kit which I purchased. Oh man did that kit deliver. Gone was the uncomfortable feeling hollow rubber. Now I can choose between oh-so-soft t-shirt feeling cotton, vegan leather, or my personal favorite the ice silk. The back head cup helped to keep the headset in place for the sweet spot as well. The other major annoyance that I had with this VR headset, which was not addressed with the GC comfort kit, was the sound. The pack-in ear buds are alright, I guess, but they don't sound amazing, the dangly cables were annoying to deal with and would constantly get caught on stuff, and the earbuds would constantly fall out of my ears. I tried using my Steel Series Arctic Nova 7 usb-c headset with the PSVR2 to see if that would work. While it did fit with the PSVR2 on and sounded LEAGUES better, the headphones which are not heavy to the point of being bothersome alone were extremely uncomfortable to wear with addition of the PSVR2. They also trapped heat on my ears which added to the heat being trapped against my face from the VR and made me a sweaty uncomfortable mess. These clip on headphones looked to be exactly what I wanted in an audio solution for the PSVR2. They easily clip on to the halo band of the headset, have a similar plastic connecting bar to the pack-in earbuds, and plug into the aux port just like those. These headphones are on a hinge and can adjust up and down as well as rotate up away from your ears for storage or to get them precisely on your ears. Sound quality is much, much better than the pack-in earbuds, but I must caution to keep your expectations in check. This is a $50 add on. Do not expect these to compete with your high-end Sony or Sennheiser cans. That's not what this is intended to do. But for those looking for a really easy to use, supremely comfortable, and great sounding on ear audio solution for the PSVR2, I cannot recommend these enough. Globular Cluster has made yet another winner for a niche device. They are absolutely crushing it with each of their products that I've tried.

Solid headphones that clip on nicely, adjustable, but they don't really clamp on to your ears tightly enough to create a seal that delivers all the low end. Nice for convenience though

I really enjoyed the comfort of PSVR1 and was disappointed when I got my PSVR2 to find that it wasn't nearly as comfortable (at least not for me). I tried a couple of methods to try to make it more comfortable (i.e. headbands , top straps) and nothing worked until I came across this product. Not only is it incredibly comfortable but it solves the problem of the tiny sweet spot of the PSVR2 because the design keeps the headset in place and doesn't move. It was easy to install (and the process is completely reversable if you need to). It comes with several different cushion types: breathable fabric/gel, PU vinyl and cloth/gel. Excellent customer service. In fact, original purchasers of the V1 mod were provided with free upgrade parts when the new and improved V2 version was released. Buy this as soon as you can!

I expect noting special or to work n be cheap but wow these are perfect my son loves these and I would buy again if I ever needed too!!

Sure, they look a little crappy. And they're not gonna make a better impression on you when the come out of the box. But once you actually *use* them their sound quality is shockingly good, and they're very comfortable. Such a night and day difference over the earbuds, I *highly* recommend these things.

Really fantastic, it doesnt sit right on your ears, it just hovers there. Which makes it cooler to wear. Sound is great, no complaints. Easy to install, adjustable. Really great product.

The shipping time and origin tells you what you fear. It’s from china, feels like china and smells like it. Bad thing is you can’t FIND it on Ali etc. It works and the adjustment to make it fit and cover your ear is quite easy. The sound (turn volume op from settings) is very nice. It’s an over ear design so it won’t sound like a premium headset, but that won’t fit like these. Overal a nice and welcome addition, but like all Chinese export, how long will they last.

Da gibt es kaum mehr zu sagen, als das, was ich auch über die Komfort Kopfpolster vom gleichen Hersteller schrieb. Einfach perfekt! Die Ohrstöpsel von Sony sind eine Zumutung! Bei uns nutzen Freunde und rund 10 Kinder die Brille abwechselnd! Wer will den bitte Stöpsel, die vorher jemand benutzt hat?! Absoluter Irrwitz was Sony da macht. Aber genau wie bei den Polstern hat Globular Cluster hier einfach mal die perfekte Ergänzung! Und das für einen mehr als angemessenen Preis! Wirklich, für eine PSVR3 hoffe ich, dass entweder Sony hier mitlernt oder der Hersteller weiter an Bord ist. Die Kopfhörer werden einfach angeklipst und halten perfekt. Sie sind leicht durch drehen in jeder Richtung auf die eigene Kopfform bzw. Ohren anpassbar. Der Klang schirmt perfekt ab und klingt super.

They are amazing! Comfortable fit, easy to install, and supports surround sound. All round, one of the best purchases I have made a must for anyone who uses VR.
