Heavy, beautiful, ready to use from the first ( the test was can I fry eggs in it without them sticking to the pan …they didn’t stick…I did fry them in beef tallow…the tallow { plus other stuff } from carni store in UAE and Fatworks from amazon are fab …) and a beautiful design…and the silicon sleeve for the handle was a lovely freebie…very good value for money and as lovely as USA lodge cast iron cookware so far. Don’t hesitate. The included little note was thoughtful and packaging very good. I don’t know where it’s manufactured but it’s a terrific buy.
