Hertford Fine Foods Chilli con Carne 392g (pack of 12)

We bought this chilli for quick meals to have with couscous or rice and we were both very pleasantly surprised how tasty it is !!It has a lovely rich flavour, a decent and noticeable amount of spice, plenty of kidney beans and the beef is not mince but actually small pieces and slivers of beef.We also add to it sometimes and one of our favourites is to add a teaspoon of sugar and a tablespoon of mayonnaise which creates a creamier and slightly sweeter variant.We immediately ordered another slab of 12 cans after our first meal and will definitely order more. At less than £2 a can atm, it's also an absolute bargain too.Highly recommended.

The chilli concarni was disgusting. Nothing like a chilli concarni. It was all liquid like soup and had no test whatsoever. Would not feed that to an animal. Not edible. What company thinks that that product is good. Should be ashamed. I feel ripped off.

Very good medium chilli(to my taste buds at least)Love it with chips, rice or on a jacket potato.Easy to re-heat.Excellent value for money.

Tasted okay. Not the best or worst.BUT ….. you’re almost certainly guaranteed of, at least, TWO pieces fatty gristle in each can !!!

It's probably the best tinned chilli con carne I've ever had, it's the perfect consistency for a chilli & the perfect spiciness, I like spicy food but sometimes being too spicy ruines it, & this is just at the right level so you can taste the food while having something spicy.
