Such a gentle, feel-good little book. Children will engage with the positive messages about being kind. This book will make them think about their behaviour and about how they could be kinder. At the same time, it doesn’t feel as though the author is preaching to them. Good job Catherine!

I used this book to talk with my two boys about different ways of being kind - they liked the pictures and it lead to some good discussions about school and home. I will also use with my year 1 class next year. I like the wider ideas about kindness and ideas for activities.

The media could not be loaded.  A gorgeous children's book about understanding emotions - one's own and those of other people - and how to show kindness in many ways, including kindness to the environment, animals and to yourself. Lots of helpful examples with beautiful illustrations. Just what I was looking for (for kids 4 and 6 years) to foster empathy and the importance of looking after each other.

The media could not be loaded.  My girls (4 and 7) both love this book and so do I. Is simple yet profound, and gently encourages children to show compassion in empathy in their everyday lives. Gorgeous watercolour illustrations really bring the messages to life. Should be on every family bookcase.

It was lovely to see that this book covers a wide range of personal qualities, including empathy, kindness to animals, and noticing other people’s feelings. These are characteristics we often ignore or perhaps do not include in kindness. Really useful!

I was gifted a copy of this book for a charity fundraiser.It's absolutely WONDERFUL and would bd a great addition to classrooms and homes.It discusses the benefits of kindness to each other, towards animals and the environment, and kindness to ourselves. It includes lots of discussion and activities which are thought provoking and the illustrations are beautiful.If this book is anything to go by, the author's other books will be fabulous too. I look forward to reading them.

I really like the illustration in this book. I purchased the Ebook and got them all in colour, really nice.I like the authors message to children regarding kindness and I like how she included being kind to animals and the earth.At the end of the book there are a few kinds activities that will really help the kids learn more about a time they gave & received kindness.

It is interesting how books like these can assist with bringing our children up. I can’t help it nevertheless when I read this book, funny thought entered my head: Government should send this book to all adults too because many of them need to read it and contemplate it too. Lol! It is difficult to change the adults though nevertheless we can shape our children… I recommend this book.
