All Ages
I currently teach high school and have a background in IT. I purchased this for my personal amusement but left it on my desk for fun. Teenagers and adults both play with it everyday 😀

New favorite toy but not super durable
Our 16mo old LOVES this Montessori music and light box! There are multiple types of switches to turn on and off multi colored lights. Her favorite is the yellow button that plays a variety of different children's tunes. My only complaint is that the switches are not very sturdy for aggressive little hands. The one switch has already become dislodged and fell inside the box. Our little one walks around holding and shaking it and has dropped it numerous times which led to the broken switch. However, being made for a baby it should be a bit sturdier.

Sound and Lights
This wooden Light Switch Busy Board is the right size for a 1-year old, which is the manufacturer's minimum recommended age. Measuring just 5.5 inches by 3.5 inches and 1.75 inches high (including the height of toggle switches), it packs a lot of activity into a small toy. Before any of the switches will work, one rocker switch next to the battery compartment (takes two AAAs, not included) must be flipped on. Then the six working switches (3 toggle and 3 rocker) control their own lights. The final surprise is a yellow button, which plays on a new song each time it is pressed. Starting with Happy Birthday to You, there are eleven familiar songs in rotation, performed in a pleasant computerized harpsichord.Cautions: While the toy is "travel size," it is not a good choice for a car seat toy. The toggle switches could cause an injury if the car comes to a sudden stop. As with many toys for this age, it is best for a parent to supervise to ensure safe play. To save on batteries, the main power switch should be turned off before putting it away.

Great little toy to keep a toddler busy
Its small size makes it easy to take any where. It has lots of buttons and toggles to keep little fingers busy. It does make some noise so not ideal for quiet occasions. But it’s very well made and can take toddler roughness. Very cool little toy!

Will keep a toddler entertained for a while
So you're look at this thing and think 'wow this is kind of silly, how much fun could this be?'Well, if you're an adult, it's fun for about 30 seconds. The switches are all good quality, and certainly do feel good to flip, but it gets old fast. But, now imagine you're a toddler. This thing is fun for as long as you can imagine. They'll just sit there and flip switches, then flip them back, then flip them again, etc. It's a pretty well built box, and pretty easy (for an adult) to get the batteries in and out (for when you want to take them out after a child is just flipping switches for hours.

Simple light switch box
Very simple light switch box which is exactly what I was looking for. I think a lot of the boxes in the market is overly saturated with various activities that can distract the babies from the main purpose of learning how to toggle buttons and press buttons for a simple effect. This box has a direct cause-and-effect clearly laid out for the baby. My biggest issue with this box is that the edges are not polished and a bit rough. Overall, the baby was able to learn to press these buttons and learn cause and effect.

Good fidget toy
I know this is geared towards little ones, but my son is 19 yrs old . he is autistic, non verbal. Lately his fascination has been with switches that turn off/ on lights. I got this for him to see if he would play with it...and I can say that he plays with it at least 1-2 times a day. Only thing is, he banged it on something and dented the wood on the bottom. I used duct tape to cover the splintered wood so he wouldn't get scratched. Makes a great fidget toy

The best for kids who love light switches, toggles and lights.
There are numerous versions of this thing available here. My 1.5 yo is absolutely entranced with it. Loves the toggles. It's nice because the buttons all require a different amount of force to activate. Well built as it has stood up to the challenge in my household. A must get for any young tactile learner. Slightly bulky for travel but very helpful if you have the space!
