While I'm not a massive fan of choke collars, we do have a dog on the site that insists on pulling. She's quite strong and when she sees a rabbit or squirrel she tries her best to get after them. So I think we need for her, it's a nice strong collar that is possibly soft enough to be comfortable. I like that the slack-range can be easily adjusted so it stays on properly. Good value and tough enough I think.

I got this slip collar because I deal with rescue dogs on a daily basis, I sometimes need a slip collar when on dog rescue transport runs so i got this 1.4m lead because I sometimes need that extra bit to make a bigger loop to slip it over the bigger dogs head.Like anything i get that is dog related I always first try on my 40kg husky that can pull like a horse, he's use to being in harness or collar for his walks so I was happy when he didnt seem to mind the slip around his neck.Once any dog related things like leads, collars or harnesses the first things I always check before even attempting to try on my own fur kid, is the strength and durability of the stitching, triggers, D-rings and webbing quality.The lead as a lovely feel to it and is well made, I'm very OCD when it comes to dog safety so I always look at the stitching and material quality on any lead before I use it on any dog, this one does seem to glide really well on the thick rope. It feels very strong and should take some really heavy use, the thick rope is great for easy to grip. The metal ring on the slip section feels nice and strong and is alot better then the plastic ones that are on the market. only used it once and anti slip toggle came apart

The material is cheap the thickness is thin useless my dogs pulling is worse with this..... now its become a deathtrap 6th Sept completely snapped at a busy road

The black tabs snapped off both my lead with ing two weeks
