Good WiFi AP, does exactly what I ask of it with no hassle whatsoever.
It's a good bit of kit, can be powered over PoE, provides a decently fast and stable WiFi signal and is configurable through the Omada interface. I'm happy with the cost of it, and it takes minimal configuration if you already have one up and running on your network. First setup is easy, secondary and tertiary is just a matter of clicking 'adopt' in the software interface.

It works perfectly!
So easy to set up. I was pessimistic about it's performance, but omg it works amazingly well. I live in a 1800sqft townhouse. The Starlink router is on the ground floor and I've located the AP on the top floor, hard wired via ethernet that runs to every bedroom. I'm getting exactly the same speed and signal strength as if I were standing next to the router. I'll be buying more, one for each bedroom. The coverage even extends to the first floor. Great value for money.

Solid access point, but benefits most from a full Omada setup
Overall, great performance and easy to manage once it’s running. I do wish I’d gone for the Wi-Fi 7 version though. You’ll get the best experience if you already have a full Omada setup with the controller and router — otherwise, configuration is limited to the local IP. Signal penetration isn’t amazing; there’s noticeable loss through a couple of single brick walls. Still, for the price and stability, it’s a strong performer.

Excellent WiFi coverage – solved our signal problems instantly
I bought this access point because the house we live in is built with concrete walls and floors, and the standard Sky router just wasn’t powerful enough to provide reliable WiFi throughout the property. The signal would drop off badly in several rooms. I installed this unit by hardwiring it through the ceiling and it has made a huge difference to the WiFi coverage across the entire ground floor. The signal is now strong and stable in areas where the router alone simply couldn’t reach. I can even get a usable signal in most rooms on the first floor now, although it’s usually around two bars rather than a full five. Because of how well this one has worked, I’ll definitely be buying a second unit to install upstairs once we put up the new ceiling and run the cable. For the price, it’s been a really worthwhile upgrade. If you live in a property with thick walls or concrete floors and struggle with WiFi coverage, adding one of these access points makes a massive difference.

Worked straight out of the box and easy to set up as a standalone WAP.

Excellent results
Excellent product. Connected with a Cat6 (PoE) cable, I was able to take my workshop from patchy one bar 30Mbps to rocksteady 5 bar 150Mbps. My only criticisms: 1) When wall mounting as I did, TP-Link seem to expect you to insert the cables from above. As I came in from below, the only way to fit the unit was upside down. It makes no difference, obviously, but the centralised TP-Link logo now sits upside down... looking a little daft. 2) There's a blue light that indicates status... but it's always blue, making it pretty vague. I reset the unit at one point but unless you stare constantly at this blue light, it's easy to miss the very subtle flashes that indicate status changes. Colour changes from red to blue or similar would have made this much easier. But overall, it does an amazing job that makes a terrific difference.

no power supply, er, supplied
not sure how good it is as it doesn't come with a power supply, factor in PoE if you haven't already got an injector

⭐ Enterprise Power at a Consumer Price — EAP635 Delivers Big
After wrestling with the limitations of the EAP610, switching to the TP-Link EAP635 felt like stepping into another league. I installed two units—one on each level of a 2,000 sqft home—and the coverage has been absolutely flawless. For a device in this price range, it packs a serious punch with enterprise-grade features, seamless integration into the Omada ecosystem, and blazing-fast Wi-Fi 6 performance. Setup was straightforward, and both access points have been rock solid from day one. No drops, no quirks—just fast, stable connectivity across all clients, including smart home devices, streaming setups, and remote work demands. If you're looking for premium performance without the premium price tag, the EAP635 is a standout choice. Reliable, feature-rich, and clearly built to last.
