I needed precision scales and found these to be an excellent choice. The option of special feet for carpet was great but I found I weighed less rather than more on that surface. However, without the feet and on a stable hard surface, the scales have been consistent. And although I didn't like what they said, I feel more assured that I can track my weightloss without fear and with accuracy. The wider platform is great for stability and means that the weigh results don't go up and down trying to guage the right weight. A bit expensive - but I have had 2 cheaper scales now and both have been rubbish. My one criticism of the makers is that they should have backlit the display so that the figures are easily visible - but if you have a well lit bathroom, then there is no problem.

Good quality. Accurate. Reliable. Reading method could be more simple but it is fine anyway. Verdict: Buy.

We have them in our college to weigh heavy luggage for students travelling by air! They are fab, fit a suitcase and will change to kilos, pounds and stones - they are very popular, robust and an economical discreet way of weighing luggage or yourself! They are accurate and we have had them for a year or so now and they still work as good as new! I highly recommend them!

Meet my expectations

These scales are all I expected and more. As someone with diabetes my weight is very important and I could not have wished for better scales. I can even read my weight without my glasses on and the wide platform gives extra stability.Perfect!

Only gained 1 star, because I couldn't put 'no stars'. I needed to replace some cheap (£20) which were getting old and therefore inaccurate. Sadly, for me, I came across good reviews for these. I did some research on them and considering they cost more than 4 times the old ones - I thought they would be accurate. They are NOT. They are solid and extra large, and take up far too much room in my bathroom, but I wouldn't have minded if they gave a consistent and accurate reading. To add insult to injury, at some time in the last week or so, Amazon have reduced the price by £13.50! So, my advice would be - buy the cheap kind; if you're lucky they might stay accurate for a year and then DUMP them. My old ones lasted for at least 4 years. Won't trust SECA scales again.

Absolutely perfect. I’ve bought cheaper scales that have been so rubbish. I took a chance paying a lot more but so worth the money. These are the same scales I get weighed on at hospital, perfectly accurate. Really pleased

Kurze Bedienungsanleitung, Batterien liegen bei. Batterien einlegen und das Wiegen kann beginnen. Die Waage ist gut verarbeitet. Meine Tochter hat die Waage schon länger und ist gut zufrieden.
