I used to be a my pillow girl
I used to be a my pillow girl and don’t get me wrong I still have one and use it on and off but I bought this while on a trip to replace the my pillow that I left at a hotel room and I’m very happy with this! At first, I accidentally took out too much filling, and when I went to put in more filling, I realized my husband had thrown the extra filling that this comes with in the dump! I was upset about that so I ordered another small package of fill here on Amazon and it’s now perfectly fine . This pillow is definitely worth a try for those that have a hard time finding the right density. The foam that’s inside is cut into perfect little tiny squares and it’s not sticky or hard bit light like air.. it is excellent quality with zero fumes! When you first get it out of the package it’s going to be flat as a flitter. When I saw it I was like uh oh I’m in trouble 😨. So I threw it on the back bed where we were staying and when I went back there to go to bed I realized it had grown like 20 times in size! Then I took out some of the filling. The two layers of casing is very high-quality with really great zippers. I will definitely buy another one if I need to

So far IN LOVE
This review may be premature as it's only been 3 days. But so far I'm in love with this pillow! No, nobody paid, bribed or gifted me into writing this review. I just wanted to share my journey with others. My pillow journey has been a bit like trying to find the perfect lover. You begin hopeful. You meet. You invite them over. You take them to bed. You crave compatibility. But it doesn't happen. Sooner or later, they only disappoint you. They're too hard or too soft; dull and flat or too full of themselves; smother you or aren't supportive; a pain in the neck or a whopping headache. I tried microfiber, down alternative (aka the infamous sisters, Poly & Ester), memory foam, latex and millet (my 2nd favorite). I steered clear of down for the longest time because the practice of live plucking geese is extremely cruel. Weeks, $ and multiple trips to the UPS store (they now know me well) flew by. Then I gave up. That's when love - in the form of this pillow - found me.Here's what I've learned: the right pillow is very subjective. One is advised to get a firm pillow if a side sleeper; a medium if a back sleeper; and a soft if a stomach sleeper. Ignore it all. I'm primarily a side sleeper and the medium is just fine for me. The first thing I did when the pillow arrived was to put it on tumble dry for 20 minutes. It fluffed up beautifully. It then went into a queen size pillow protector which went into a queen size pillow case so it could have room to breathe. Some reviewers complained of an odor. My pillow had none...and I have a sensitive nose. I fluff it up before sleep. My head sinks in as if it's a cloud that's at once soft yet very supportive. It hasn't once risen up and tried to asphyxiate me like the high loft pillows one is advised to buy as a side sleeper. For the record, I have both upper back and neck problems, but not with this baby. I hope it will be a keeper. I also hope that Baisihan is true to their promise of their down being ethically sourced.Update: It's now been 17 days and I'm still in love. So much so that I bought another pillow. Threesome anyone?May this help you on your journey to the best night's sleep ever on infinite repeat.

No care instructions provided in box
Got my pillow today. I think I’m going to love it.! I have used feather pillows for years. Tried going synthetic but found them too lumpy with not enough compressability. This pillow does have a bit of an odor which I’m hoping will dissipate with time. I don’t recall my other feather pillows having this odor. Mine did not come with any care instructions,. but I recalled reading on the website to put it in the dryer before use. You would think that such a well-made, well packaged product would come with care instructions!

The BEST pillows I have ever slept on!
I can't wait to go to bed at night - that is how much I love these pillows. I was concerned about paying over $100 per pillow and whether I could trust the quality, but they did not disappoint. Well made, quality fabric and stitching and they fluff up after taking them out the package. I sleep on my back, side and stomach, and the pillows are easy to fluff in just the right places to get comfortable no matter which way I sleep. I did not notice any odor after unpacking like some reviews have mentioned.

Disappointed
First let me say that the quality of the down/feathers and the fabric cover did meet my expectations. There is no crunching of feathers , no escaping feathers. However, I choose the firm fill level, and I was deeply disappointed. This pillow is just as skimpily filled as cheap pillows I've tried in the past. Yes it looks like it's well filled because it fluffs up with air readily to regain it's shape, but this is filled nowhere near where it should be for the price and firm fill level. The truth is that my head and neck is not supported at all causing pain every night. I can double it over or gather it all under my neck but it will never improve the support because you haven't filled this pillow with enough down/feathers to do so. For twenty bucks I could get the same (lack of) comfort level. I'd hate to experience how little filling you get with the soft version. A firm pillow should be firm and that's what I paid for. Would not recommend!
