Nice Quality for Encaustic
Paper was a little thicker than I’d hoped but it worked well in my encaustic art. I was looking for cheap thin paper so if you are looking for a stronger artist quality tissue this is the one for you. Large quantity is a great value for the money.

Perfect for art!
If you love using your old tea bags in your art but always wished they were larger, this is for you! I soaked an entire sheet in tea to stain it, hung it up to dry, and now I have tea bag paper any size I want!!! Love love love! My creative brain is going wild.

Nice for just about anything, not just for tea!
You get a good amount of it and it arrives folded. It’s a continuous roll but it’s flat. If you want to tear off a specific amount, you will need scissors to cut it off because it tears very unevenly (see my pics.) It’s like trying to tear a tissue perfectly - it’s not going to happen. It’s smooth on one side and textured feeling of a teabag on the other. It looks like it can be used as tracing paper. I tried tracing with it (both sides) and found it hard. I could see through to the image no problem, but it didn’t much want to accept my pencil when tracing. I was using a fine tip (push button) pencil, so maybe my nib was way too fine, but it didn’t take my trace very well (not on either side).I think this teabag paper would be great for a variety of mediums. I think soft pastels could work. I tested mine with watercolor pens and i think the results were pretty good. I really don’t dabble in watercolor because I feel i stink at it, but I had a nice result with the watercolor pens when testing out the teabag paper, especially with the tree design. I was able to blend nicely. The teabag paper seemed to take the softer strokes better. I had some challenges when attempting the graffiti (says ‘Carpe Diem’). I think it was due to heavier strokes. This paper is extremely fine. For any type of art work to it, I would recommend taping it down and/or stretching it safely to a board in order to do work where you need the ink to flow freely without any hiccups or the paper bunching up. For my graffiti piece, the paper bunched up a little bit when attempting that. I didn’t experience any issues for the tree though.I think this paper takes watercolor medium extremely well - which is amazing to me because it’s so thin and transparent. I wouldn’t think it would take it so well, but it does. My watercolor markers ended up bleeding through to my table, but the teabag paper did not stick to it, nor did it shrivel, crunch up, or wrinkle which is common w/ watercolor medium. This is definitely a nice paper for watercolor work. I look forward to testing other mediums and effects on it. Maybe I will try watercolor medium again seeing as I had good results.

Teabag papers
Exactly what I needed for use in gelli printing and scrapbook making. Very strong when wet with acrylic paints. You can layer paints on these successfully. Strong and perfect for use in scrapbooking and making your own journals. Dyes well.

the measurement is incorrect on the item
The item arrived as planned but just a heads up that the measurement is not the same as advertised. In reality it is 13" wide so if that matters to you, be aware!

Way to expressive
I must admit it is lovely paper, especially when used with your gelli plate. However, for the price, you only get such a small amount, so to me, it’s not worth it.
