I have never written a review before, but I feel I do need to dispel the other reviews that say this product does not fit standard downspouts. It DEFINITELY does! At least the 3x4 sizes. Now, I have both store bought and pro installer made parts I am trying to branch together. The dimples align well with both. The corners are often more rounded and bloated than on this Y Connector, but that actually gives my gutters a very flat/square look once installed!.. just like the picture shows in the purchasing add. Once you square up the tubing (not hard, just work with your hands as you do with any other connection), it slides over and in very well. There is even enough clearance to allow for pre-painting this to match whatever gutter color you are using. There are absolutely no seams, it is very solid, and I would expect this to last forever. I am so glad that someone engineered this so precisely and is manufacturing a solid metal product for this purpose! It is extremely well made.

Very thick and heavy duty, this thing is probably as thick as three credit cards, where normal downspouts are very thin. Well made and works great.

This Y connector is thick and sturdy. The only problem I encountered was that the bottom portion would not receive the downspout pipe because it was a little too small. Luckily I could attach it at the end so it wasn't a big issue. It does what I need it to do for the overflow of my rainbarrel.

This is a cast metal part. The top openings are large enough to allow the downpout pipe to slide in - no issues. The problem is the bottom. There is no way to reduce the size of the bottom so it will fit inside of the downpipe. Had to return it since i could not make it go inside of the downspout. Low quality paint job - no that is not surface dust to wipe off or my fingerprints. Zero Quality control.

Very strong, solid. I expected it to be more flexible to be able to fit the downspouts easier. I had to flex the downspouts to make them fit into this then tape it up well with waterproof Gorilla tape.Works ok though.
