As it says on the bottle, it is gloss and it is black. Extremely glossy, fingerprint magnet finish. If you touch it even a nanosecond before it's set, your fingerprints are going to be a permanent fixture of whatever you've painted, so be careful.

This paint has quickly become my "go to" for a black finish. I initially used it as a primer for Alclad metallic finishes, but then started using it anytime I was spraying black. It goes on much better than any acrylic or lacquer I have tried.
