seller, do you check the manufacture date before shipping and if so, will it be non-expired for at least 2 to 2.5 years?

I wasn't the seller,but I do have a much better tastier remedy you. It works wonders. 2quarts boiling water, 2 TBPS Honey, 1/4tsp salt and 1/4 tsp baking soda. Throw out offer 24hrs. It will do wonders for dehydration.even in children. That other stuff is SO GROSS. Breaking The Vicious Cycle book( Elaine GottschallB.A., M.Sc.) I hope I helped.

Why does it cost $5 per pack to ship?

Rescue Essentials offers a flat rate $4.99 ship for all orders, no matter what is in the cart. It standardizes the ship offering to the customer.  It's the way we've always done it, and our customers have appreciated this structure.  On some orders we lose money offering that option.  And in some cases, the customer does not get the best deal.  If you buy 1 ORS, then yes, you don't have a great deal.  However, if you buy 5 items from our store, the shipping is automatically free to the contiguous US. It's a promotion we have assigned to our sku's (you look for promotions under the seller's listing when shopping).  If you buy 5 ORS, the shipping is free.  You can buy any 5 items though it doesn't have to be the same product.  If we did actual shipping on all the little tiny items we sell, we'd go out of business.  That is why you see a lot of bulk offerings from sellers.  they won't sell a single ORS, but they'll offer a 50 pack.  At the end of the fiscal year, our goal is to cover shipping costs overall, but it never really happens.  In general, it ends up being a better deal for the over all customer base.  And that is a loss we accept.  Hope that helps.
