BGS 62675 | Claw Socket for Mercedes Ignition Lock Rosette

The Mercedes electronic starter key problem is well known. After some years of use, the key receptacle in the dash works loose and rotates when you try to start the car. This prevents the starting of the car and in the worse case the whole thing can fall out. Now one would have thought that Mercedes would design such problems out, but sadly, Mercedes are not what they once were.This little gadget allows you to tighten the key receptacle so that rotation/loosening is impossible. It does it without damage..so you don't need to undertake journies fearful that you may not be able to start the car again...and all because Mercedes couldn't get it right.
