MizunoWomen's Wave Legacy

Comfort
Mizuno is a tried and true shoe for me. They have good support and are comfortable on my very old feet. I also like the looks of them: color combinations, and general outward appearance. Not clunky, trim, and just a subtle brand identity.

Did not pass my wear & roughness
First I love Mizuno, a great running shoe. I have a collection that goes back three years. So each year I purchase a fresh pair since I can be a bit rough with my running shoes. I not only wear them when I am running, I walk or do whatever I want when I want to be comfortable and casual. The first brand that I loved and it was discontinued was the 'Waveknit' running shoe, then I went to the 'Wave Rider 22' and those are being phased out. So I decided to try the Wave legacy, not a fan! Only after 3 months of wear and roughness, my big right toe-poked a small hole in the tip of the right shoe. I was disappointed. I figured for what I paid for them they would be more durable! Also, I tend to purchase the darker colors and decided to go with the light color. The dirty spots were visible rather quickly. Looks like a year-old pair of running shoes and not 3 months! I just will have to purchase another pair a lot sooner than expected, I will not be purchasing the 'Wave Legacy' again just another brand of Mizuno.

Mizuno's have always fit me best!
This is my third pair over the years and they fit perfectly as always. Very supportive but have a bit of bounce, and not too wide. I have a long, narrow foot (size 11!) and they're just perfect. Now, if only I can keep them clean!😩

Comfortable
These are solid running shoes. I’m using them for walking and they are really comfortable. They are lightweight and I think the solid white looks great (hopefully I will be able to keep them clean and pristine white for a long while). So far they seem to be high quality and durable. They seem to be on the narrow side, so if you happen to have wide feet, be sure to look for a wide size option.

Really nice shoes, extremely light, wife likes them.
Never tried Mizuno, figured we would give them a try. They are very well made and lightweight. They are more for a narrow foot though, so if you have a wider foot, might want to look elsewhere. Tread is decent for on road stuff, which is what they are for. Should hold up for quite a while.

Very comfortable
This pair of sneakers is a very nice color, a salmon hue. Mizuno sneakers are the gold standard for running shoes. I like that these have a wide toebox and are adequately wide throughout. These offer plenty of support for walking, hiking or running. These wash well in the machine, and kept their shape, despite multiple washings. I would order this model of shoe again.

Great support for bad arches and overpronation
This is one of the brands and styles of shoes recommended by my podiatrist to help with a fallen arch (plantar tendon was cut) and overpronation in my foot. The sole is not as flexible as that of other similar brand and style shoes, and this is actually a good thing. It provides more arch support to the foot and helps keep it in proper position when walking or running. The insoles that come with the shoes can be removed if you wish to use your own insoles or have specially made orthotic inserts. Though I also have wider feet, I ordered up a half size and don't have any trouble with pinching in the toes or heel rubbing. Upper material is thin and breathable to keep feet from sweating (yay). Even with the stiffer, thicker sole the shoes are nicely lightweight (also yay). Because these shoes do have the thicker sole, break-in time is longer than normal for a pair of shoes. It took me about a week for this pair, starting out at 30 min for the first day, 45 the second, etc. The only real fault I can find with these shoes? The laces are on the longer side and the loops can hit the ground and be stepped on causing you to trip over your own feet if not tucked in or the laces swapped out for shorter ones (which I did).
