Best boots I've ever had, extremely comfortable and didn't take long to break them in. I'm prone to blisters and had to get some new boots for my D of E since the last ones I had required me to bring a case full of blister plasters. I bought the same amount expecting the worst and only had to use one or two which for a pair of brand new leather boots is astonishing. I've used them for almost a year since then and they are currently the only shoes I own that I can walk further than 5km in without blisters. On top of that the ankle support is great as well as the tread, the laces are robust as are the eyelets. Definitely recommended

Love this boot . Bought to replace the same boot I bought 26 months ago that has finally gone through at the heel and though now letting in water is perfectly serviceable. Gone through loads of road walking, dog walking, gardening and general use. Comfortable, good looking and waterproof - what more could you ask? Will be looking to replace with same in a few years , and the old ones are going in the garden as planters for some daffodils.

These are excellent quality boots.I am a size 9 but decided after reading Amazon reviews I decided to order size 10. Unfortunately they were still too small so I am having to return then. Disappointingly the only return method available is via Hermes and you need a printer for the return label - I dont have a printer so now have to faff about getting it printed somewhere. I have ordered size 11 and will see how they are.UPDATE: Size 11's arrived and are a perfect fit!

Very comfortable right from the start. Hi-Tec boots are built for the English foot and are more generous in width than most other makes. I have not used them in very wet conditions yet, so cannot comment on their waterproofing, but this is the third pair of Hi-Tec boots I have had and the others (Altitude V-Lites) have been very good for about a year, which is, frankly, all you can expect from a pair of boots which are, literally, worn every day of the year in all conditions. The 2.2cm leather will, hopefully, mean that they are durable. The build quality seems excellent.

Excellent boot great delivery at a good price

I bought these for my son and the first day he wore them it rained and both toe areas allowed water in so I have returned them. I have a pair of these that I have worn for about 5 years and they have been great so this must have been bad luck, something in the manufacturing process must have gone wrong.

I'm very happy with my purchase, I had tried them on at a local store prior to purchasing to check my size. I'm an 81/2 in normal shoes and was undecided between the 8 or the 9. I opted for the 8 and was glad I did as they are a good fit even with thick walking socks on. I'm very happy with the boots and they were the cheapest around that I could find. Posted and delivered all when they said they would be. I'd recommend this seller, and would deffonatly use them in the future.

first impressions of this boot were really good felt and looked a quality hiking boot as hi tec usually are was well pleased for the price.I'm afraid my first impressions were wrong put the boots on and walked down town in light drizzle felt my left foot getting wet couldnt believe it.I have worn the boots again today in light rain on tarmac only and have returned home with two wet feet. The socking lining inside both boots is soaked will be returning back to amazon. Shame because these are comfy boots but dread to think what they would be like up on the fells or anywhere damp or wet.

Habe die Schuhe als "Alltagsschuhe" gekauft, da ich ganzjährig in den Bergen wohne (7 Monate Winter). Bin durch Zufall auf die Marke gestoßen - trage seit einigen Jahren ein Produkt dieser Firma und bin hochzufrieden (habe daneben noch einige andere: Scarpa, Alpina,Meinl). Die geschmähte Originalsohle (schlechte Eigenschaften bei Schnee) hat auch einen großen Vorteil gegenüber den Vibrams: es ist die einzige mit einer brauchbaren Haftung bei blankem Eis. Mit der Wasserdichtheit wars nach 3 Jahren vorbei - ist bei starkem Gebrauch nicht außergewöhnlich?!Der "Ersatz" für die alten "Patschen" sieht optisch recht ansprechend aus (Gebrauchsschuhe - kein Firlefanz mit Textileinsätzen, Farbspielen,...)-schlicht und zweckmäßig. Sie passen und sind bequem - Breite und Höhe angenehm, Dämpfung OK. Ösen sind unverwüstlich und sinnvoll angebracht.Es sind Schuhe mit einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, die unspektakulär ihre Aufgabe erfüllen.
